It came to my attention last evening that a web design company known as "The Firm" staff Healther, & CEO Tim De valle has been claiming to have designed websites that reside in my portfolio.
Furthermore, they have copied the ad that I usually place on craigslist, and have coded it so every link within the ad points to their website, www.thefirm-inc.com .
I have contacted my attorney concerning this matter, as well as all of my clients that were mentioned in the ad, requesting them to do the same, which all have agreed to do. My attorney is preparing a case against "The Firm", with the intention to make sure that this never happens to me, or any of you, again.
I GUESS THEY DIDN'T KNOW THIS!: "The unauthorized copying and distribution via the internet of the my designs and/or material, without my expressed permission constitutes copyright infringement in violation of Title 17 U.S. Code, Section106(a) of the Copyright Act of 1976, and several recognized international copyright laws."

We never claimed to have designed any of your websites. We have our own work and our own portfolio which we are very proud of.
We are very aware of " "The unauthorized copying and distribution via the internet of the my designs and/or material, without my expressed permission constitutes copyright infringement in violation of Title 17 U.S. Code, Section106(a) of the Copyright Act of 1976, and several recognized international copyright laws."
We have actually been victims of other companies claiming to have made the websites that are in our Portfolio.
It is a shame that you have chosen to make such false and defamatory claims on a resourceful website such as this one. Unfortunately,anyone can try to destroy anyone's hard work and reputation over a simple post without any proof behind the claims. We know where we stand professionally and are confident in our services, we have many happy clients throughout the years who can attest to this. Best of luck in his future endeavors and business dealings with other service providers.
