I attended a presentation for a travel agency that saves you money. I was very impressed with how professional everything was and wanted to believe the presentation. I paid over $4ooo to be a private member and what a mistake that was. They are professional at scams. They promised me thousands of dollars in discounts and at the end of the day I can go online and get better deals.

I called and sent letters to cancel and they said I couldn't and they refused to give back my money. I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charges. I am still waiting. If that doesn't work I will have to write to the Attorney General. If anyone else has had problems, let's get together. There is power in numbers and I would hate to see anyone else scamed by these people. They should not be allowed to do business.

No matter what YOU SAY YOU ARE STILL THIEVES and the attorney general of Texas has been notified same as the district attorney of Bexar county. I request that all members of great getaways that feel they have been cheated to contact me so we can assist each other in getting a refund from these scam artists.

Just a note this is the same disgruntled employee who has written several other reports under other names. I hope he doesn't have legal problems representing himself as someone else...his name is Carlos **** and he was let go of Great Getawasy because of anger issues and poor treatment of customers and constant use of the F word

I feel for you. I attended a presentation and when I said I didn't want to buy the spiked haired guy that does the presentations belittled my wife and I and insinuated we were stupid. My wife was offended and started to cry. I wanted to punch that arrogant a**.

Finally when we got home relieved we survived  the experience, we tried to use the free airline tickets promised and what a ridiculous bunch of hoops and blackout dates you had to deal with. I can only imagine how upset you are after paying so much money for nothing. Good Luck in your class action suit.
