I paid $4000 for a membership that promised me a stay at the Kanapali Beach Resort in Hawaii, for $799 a week. When I tried to book the stay the price was $4300. Everything that the VP Steve Haberman, said in his presentation was nothing more than a lie. After countless phone calls and emails with no results,I then went to his office to demand a refund.

He wouldn't talk to me without an appointment yet he wasn't doing anything and while I was talking to him at the door to his office he pushed me out of the way and at the top of his lungs demanded I leave. I wanted a refund. He wouldn't even consider it and then called the police and accused me of assaulting him when he had pushed me earlier. This a classless act and a scam. Do not do business with these thieves.

Writing Bad Checks Is Felony Fraud

AUTHOR: Alain - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 24, 2012

I have only one thing to say, Steve Haberman, the VP of the Great Getaways is a liar and I can prove it. The company wrote a hot check for $1481.02 Sept 22 2012 and still has not paid it. I personally am contacting all members of The Great Getaways to make myself available as a witness on their behalf. A cpoy of the check has been uploaded to prove my point.

Wrong Sales Representative

AUTHOR: Project Director Great Getaways - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 21, 2012

in keeping with our policy of truth and disclosure and to protect our reputation this letter is being written to clarify the complaint this person has posted. First and foremost...the person who gave the presentation to this customer was not Steve Haberman as stated but Carlos Lajaras a former employee who was let go for his treatment of customers, and was also the sales representative. Mr Mackey requested travel that we fufilled at a tremendous discount to him. He changed his request and then lied to our agents. He did show up at our ofice and in front of five witnesses caused such a scene and started threatening people. The law was called on him and prosecution proceedings are in the works
