there was a death at one of their stores one of their employees was killed during a robbery the home depot offered a reward for anyone who would give information to help with capture of suspect reward was 100,000 dollars it was listed in the local paper to call the local sheriffs department or crime stoppers so i called the sheriffs department and told them what i knew after about a week of them calling me everyday for more information they were able to catch the suspect with my tips

now the fun starts after one year of talking to everyone in the company i finally was able to find who was in charge and he is telling me that since i did not report it thru crime stoppers i was not eligible for the reward when the papers [which i have proof of]states that you could call either one this seems like the old bait and switch scam they put the reward out and after you help them catch the guy they do not want to pay i have proof of everything i am saying including the detective with who i worked with it is surprising to me that home depot would do such a thing
