The Rush Fitness Center The Rush Beware of this company Hixson, Tennessee

I sent a registered letter to Rush corporate offices, which they signed for and recieved on Feb 10, 2010, stating that I am cancelling my contract. I heard nothing at all from them until today, June 30, 2010. Actually I recieved a letter from a collection agency they had turned my account over to. Rush made no attempt to contact me, and they still had access to charge my credit card if they so wished. Instead they turned it over to collections and now my credit report has a big ding on it. Avoid The Rush at all cost. They practice unethical and deceptive business practices. Not to mention their constant radio barrage of advertisment for "such a great deal" will get you an extremely restrictive membership. Once you come in you will get the high pressure sales push and intimidated into upgrading to a very costly membership. They are crooks. I wish there was a class action lawsuit against them that I could join
