After deciding it would be better to go into the nearest Tiger Direct outlet, as opposed to ordering online, I printed out the kind of computer I wanted, and brought it to the nearest salesman. We found me a computer and a graphics card nearest to the kind I wanted, as well as a power supply to use it.

I asked if the graphics card was compatible with my motherboard, and he told me yes.

About a week later, I go to install my new graphics card, and find that it is NOT compatible.

So I go in about 5 days later, angry because the salesman had flat out lied to me, to see about getting the motherboard swapped. I did not want a different graphics card, because anything else would be lesser than it (it was a top of the line model, and cost more than the computer).

I see the lovely manager, Kaesar Driver, and ask him if I can get the motherboard swapped.

I learn that moving all the parts between the motherboards would cost 100 dollars. Why should I give them MORE money, when they ripped me off to begin with? But I agree anyway. But then he says that with the new motherboard, a case to fit it, and the installation. Wait, what? I don't want to buy 2 motherboards and two cases. Can't I trade the old ones in? No. Even after you admitted it was your own fault? Nope, can't do it.

Well, in that case, I want to return the entire computer and go buy another one elsewhere.

He tells me I can't return it. Doesn't explain why, just tells me I can't.

I ask who is above him, and he tells me I'd have to call the corporate Tiger Direct office.

I called the office 2 days later (its closed on weekends), and after being connected and reconnected to about 50 different people, all who had no idea what they were doing, I get one that tells me that the return policy is that theyll return it for cash if I bring it back in 2 weeks, and legally, they have to take it back if there is nothing wrong with it.

I look at my calendar, and see that its been 16 days, but the day I brought it in, it had been exactly 14 days! He had refused to take it back on day 14, its within the return policy, so I still don't see what the problem is.

I call him back and explain what the office told me. Too bad. No luck. Hes still being as stubborn as ever. That was about an hour ago.

I want so badly to talk to someone that CAN do something about it, but the only people above him with any authority, don't have phone numbers anywhere.

So now I have a computer that can go on the internet, but how is that different from my old one? I have a 600 dollar graphics card that doesn't work with it. And I have a power supply that is essentially useless, since I didn't install the graphics card.

Thanks Kaesar, and I hope you have a nice day too.
