Time Warner Cable pre dates their paper bills before they mail them out so that when you do receive them in the mail it looks like you only have 5 days left to pay before the Due Date.
I receive my bill here in Findlay, Ohio.
According to the bill from Time Warner the bills are mailed out from Zanesville, Ohio which is only a few hours away from Findlay, Ohio.
First Class mail should get there here to Findlay in one day, 2 day maximum.
The bills are predated 10 days before you get them. So when you get the bill it looks like you only have 5 days left to pay before the due date.
The last bill I got was dated December 12th, 2008.
I received that bill on December 22nd, and due date is 5 days from that on the 27th of December.
Every month it is the same thing, the bill is Pre Dated 10 days before you get it in the mail.
Lets get real here Time Warner, you are fooling no one by the way you do your billing by predating the bills.
It does not take the post office 10 days to get a letter a couple hundred miles.
I have launched a investigation by the Postal Service, Better Business Bureau, Ohio Attorney Generals Office, Federal Trade Commission, and the Federal Utilities Commission.
If your bill is the same way, Pre Dated, I advise you to file complaints too so Time Warner will stop doing this deceptive pratice to their customers.

Time Warner Pre Dates Their Bills before mailing

Summed up,
Time Warner Cable predates their paper bills.
I know the mail is sometimes slow, but not every single month by 3 weeks!!!!
Time Warner dates their bills to appear as if you only have a few days left to pay your bill once you do finally receive your bill in the mail.
If the post office is that slow in getting mail to customers then Time Warner should look for another way of getting the paper mail to customers.
But I do not blame this on the post office but on Time Warner Cable.
It does not take 3 weeks for a first class letter to go a hundred miles here in Ohio.
Time Warner, get real and stop treating your customers like trash.
And Yes I do realize you can just pay online, but that is not the point I am trying to say here, what I am saying is that Time Warner Cable sends out their bills just a few days before the due date on the bill, they do not mail them out the date the bill says on it. Something mailed on the 4th or dated on the 4th on the bill and received 3 weeks later is not the fault of the post office but of Time Warner Cable.

I'll give you some "plain and simple": You're an idiot.
You go ahead and contact the Postal Sevice, BBB, Attorney General's Office, FTC, and the FUC...(you're not even intelligent enough to realize that Time Warner is governed by the FCC. Simpleton).....
They'll all laugh right in your face. You have absolutely 100% NO case.
Your bill is due the same time EACH month. Regardless of when you recieve the bill, you have MULTIPLE options available to you in order to pay your bill in a timely fashion. Again...GROW SOME RESPONSIBILTY AND QUIT BLAMING OTHERS FOR YOUR OWN INEPTITUDE!!! Idiot!!

So, you're just a complainer to complain, "plain and simple"?
This is the most asinine complaint ever.
You're getting your bills a few days in advance.
Again, it's due the SAME DAY EVERY MONTH. So nothing should change. You're always able to call in a payment, or go online to make that payment because again.....YOU KNOW THE DUE DATE EACH MONTH.
It's been sent out a week or two prior.....have you ever bothered to I dunno..check the date posted to verify processing on the envelope? To see when it's really being sent out? Maybe you should chat with your post office.
Either way, what it seems to me is....you're always late paying your bill, due to your own ineptitude, and you channel your anger about that to the only place you know where to direct it: the person sending you the bill.
Maybey ou should take a gander in the mirror. Your complaint is completely asinine, invalid, and really....a waste of time. This is not an FCC issue. It's not a "local news" issue. This is not even a local newsPAPER" issue.
Learn some responsibility and quit blaming others.

Time Warner Cable Dates Their Bills weeks in advance before mailing them.

Plain and simple, no matter how you look at it, Time Warner Cable dates their bills weeks ahead of time before they are mailed to you. This makes it appear that you only have a couple days left to pay your bill.
I realize you can pay online, that is not why I am stating what Time Warner Cable is doing to their customers by having the delayed mailing of their bills.
Every single bill I have gotten from Time Warner Cable is dated at least 2 weeks before the date I receive it. And that only leaves a few days before the bill becomes past due.
I believe Time Warner is doing this on purpose to collect more late fees from their customers.
Time Warner, we are not stupid, their are lots of other cable companies out there and also satelite service too. We do not need your service.
If you have been a victim of this predated billing then file a complaint on this site and also with the FCC so others can be warned of Time Warner practices.

They..pre-date.....their bills.....?

Here's a simple solution: It's the same date every month. You don't like it, you can do 1 of a few things:1) set up a Direct Debit and have it automatically taken out of your account. 2) Set up PayExpress online and view online statements. 3) CALL IN. You can call in and get an updated balance throug hthe automated system, AND pay over the phone. This is not a rip-off. You're recieving your bills.

Isn't the payment date the same every month? Don't you know what day it's due long before you get the bill?
I don't understand.

Time Warner Cable Pre Dates their bills, plain and simple. To make it look by the time you get your bill that you only have a couple days left to pay the bill before its past due.
Even if they dated them say April 1st and mailed them out a week later they should still get to a person within a week of the due date. But instead they arrive with only a couple days left to pay the bill in person.
The info I am stating has nothing to do with online paying.
I am trying to state the fact that Time Warner Cable predates their bills and either has super slow mailing service or they intentionally wait a week and then mail them out after they are printed??? Giving customers only a few days to pay the bill before it is past due.
It does not take a week to 10 days for a first class envelope to get from Zanesville, Ohio to Findlay, Ohio. it should only be 1 to 2 days max.

so lets get this straight every month you wait for your bill instead of going on line to do it.. and also the date prented on it is the day that it is printed out of the printer not the day they claim to send it.. learn the facts
