Time Warner Cable Collections Summerville, South Carolina

I currently have service with time Warner.  I have had it for over 15 yrs.  I have lived at thiis address for over 10 years the same address and paid my bill every month.  Recently i recieve a letter in the mail from a collection agency.  time Warner was calling on a bad debt in my name.  Why woudl the turm my name over to a collection agencny when I am a good paying customer with an active account?

Well, it all about money.  I was told by one of their representatives that when you call in for anything the reps set up NEW accounts to increas their sales and quotas.  So, you accout is not taged to an exiisting account.  You are a new service.  tis being the case,  six years later i receive a collection letter for a bill that I have never recieved or was aware.
