In March of 2007, I received a phone call asking if I would like to sell or rent my timeshare. I said that I would be interested in selling and the man put me in contact with Ad. Exec. Jennie Gaylor from Timeshare Registry International. She told me that timeshares listed with their company usually sold in less than 9 months. She told me that they had recently sold a unit in my resort for more than $13,000.00 and priced mine at $14,000.00. I told her that I would be interested in purchasing another timeshare when mine sold. She responded very positively and led me to believe that I could sell mine, buy another, and still make some money. I decided to accept their offer and paid $998.00 through my credit card.

About a week later, I spoke to a friend of mine who also owns at my resort and she told me that the resort had a list of people who wanted to sell their timeshares and they were trying to sell them for less than $6,000.00. I called Jennie and told her this information. She said that she would look into it for me and call me back. She did not return my call. At this time, I do not believe that they did sell a unit at my resort for $13,000.

After about 3 months, I called the company again. At this point I could no longer speak with Jennie Gaylor. All of my questions would now be handled by Rudy. Every time that I call for an update, Rudy says the same thing. We have had a few inquiries, but no serious offers. We will call you when we get a serious offer. In the fall he told me that it was a slow time, but the busy season would start after the first of the year. I called him in March and told him to cut the price in half and list it for $7,000.00 which he did. I told him that it had been a year since I listed with their company and he said that selling depends on where people want to travel. I know that my resort is a very popular place. I listed my week for rental this year and it took less than two weeks to rent it. He then reminded me that they were an advertising company.

The following are quotes from the information that this company sent to me:
- Terms 3) Timeshare Registry International assumes that my timeshare sells or rents in 3 months, unless I advise Timeshare Registry International
to the contrary, prior to the expiration date of 3 months.
- About Our Company - At Timeshare Registry Intemational, we offer the most innovative program for current timeshare owners to rent or sell their vacation properties! In addition to locating buyers, we also provide our customers with the most detailed, up-to-date information they'll need to make sure the closing is easy and efficient.
- Our staff consists of highly skilled professionals with more than 10 years experience in the timesharing industry. Our mission is to provide our
customers with professional and timely advice, which will get results fast.
- Being that the timeshare industry is so unique, it takes a superior marketing company like Timeshare Register to get the job done for you, once and for all. It is virtually impossible to sell a timeshare unit on your own. Let us take care of it for you, while you decide how to spend the proceeds.

It has now been 16 months since I listed my unit and I have not had one call from this company about someone wanting to purchase my unit.

When I listed my resort, I looked at information on their web site about 25 resorts , since I wanted to buy one. I wrote down all of the information about the resorts. I checked again today, which is 16 months later. Not one of the 25 resorts has sold. They are all still listed.

I believe that this company has misled me and has made claims that they did not keep.
