Tire Discounters Poor Service, Unauthorized Charges Grove City Ohio

chose to purchase tires here because they had good prices and included a free alignment. BIG MISTAKE!! I have been back twice within 7 days.

1- When I bought the tires, they said it would take 1 hr. 10 minutes later they are done saying their only mechanic that can do alignments had to leave for an emergency. No problem....they gave me a certificate to come back and get my alignment

2- I declined the OPTIONAL road hazard....when I was checking out, Josh (the manager) said that he added it at no charge because he doesn't let anyone leave without it....fine

3- A couple days later my husband takes my vehicle in to get the alignment and notices on my paperwork that they charged me for the road hazard that I declined. When he tells them that this was supposed to be at no charge, the deny telling me this and say that they can take it off but there will be a $10 recovery charge on the tires that they waive when you purchase the road hazard insurance....this was not mentioned when I declined it in the first place.

4 - They entered my mileage incorrectly into their system. They claim that I put 400 miles on the vehicle in 6 days. I'm a stay at home mom that puts less than 10000 miles/year on my vehicle. There is no way that I put 400 miles on my vehicle.

5 - The next day (the first time the car goes over 50 mph) I discover that they did not balance the tires!!!! How do you put new tires on without balancing them?

So the saga continues as I prepare to go back to have them fix the balancing problem.
