Well, well, here we are again submitting yet another report on a major corporation. Well this time it is TMobile and from the looks of it in your database it isn't the first time that they have been submitted.

This past spring(April) I returned form Iraq and wanted to get a cell service going as soon as possible. I neglected to check this website BEFORE jumping into a contract with TMobile. I will never do that again. I will always check here before I do business with any new companies. As for the problem with TMoible? I have filed a complaint with the BBB (Yes, I know), but that is just the first step. The next step if Mr. Stanton(Chairman of the Board for TMobile) is to file a report with the Federal Trade Commission.

As for the reports and the letter that I have written to Mr Stanton, They are submitted for review by your audience:

The Complaint to the BBB:
Purchased a phone with the help of Trista at the local TMobile store in Tacoma, WA. Trista directed me to a phone that she said was a triband phone when in all actuality it turns out is a dualband phone. Lesson one learned never listen to TMobile sales rep. Then sent in my rebate info for my 100.00. This included a copy of my cash register receipt, a rebate form, and a portion of the box(which I had to cut out). Received a letter back approximately 3 weeks later that I had inadvertantly left my phone number not filled out on the rebate form. Keep in mind the only thing TMobile sent me back was the TMobile $100 rebate form with a letter. They kept the box and the receipt. I filled in my phone number and mailed the form back to them. About two weeks later they send me another letter back with the same TMobile $100 phone rebate form back again. Only this time the letter that arrived with it was talking about an entirely different rebate and they said I was not eligible for the Easy Speak rebate. I call them up to find out what is going on with this. I explain to Lisa that they have sent me the TMobile $100 rebate form back, but was saying I was not elgibile for the Easy Speak rebate. She said well you need to send us back that form along with all of the cash receipts and the portion of the box if you want yourrebate. I tell her have done this once all ready and never received any of the orginal info back. I ask to speak with her supervisor. Brian gets on the phone and tells me the same thing. I tell him the same thing. He tells me there is nothing more tha he can do without this info. I said fine I will get a hold of the other customer service. I called the corporate office up and spoke with Debbie who says they have nothing to do with the rebate customer service. I asked her what is my recourse in this matter then, she says there is none. Now here I am trying to get my rebate back and all TMobile wants to do is give me the runaround and not pay up on their just debts

And the letter I wrote to Mr. Stanton:

Mr. Stanton,
We, yes we, are going to have a rather long year together I see. Now with 13.1 million customers and growing, I expect that what I have to say is going to fall on deaf ears as the saying goes. But let me say this before you wad this letter up and file it into the circular file, I have vowed to do what ever it takes to eliminate any further progress you may want to make in this industry and I will do it at whatever the cost. You see one of my pet peeves is companies that feel that they can get away with hiring a wall of nameless bodies and then comfortably hiding behind them and yet still rake in the dough. Mind you, I have no objection to you making money off of myself and the other 13.1 million customers you have. It is when you do it and do it unethically.

Yesterday the 28th of June, I had the distinct pleasure of speaking with your customer service (if that is what you would call it). I talked with first a lady by the name of Lisa. I explained to her what the problem was and asked how I could get the problem rectified. See the problem is when I submitted my claim for the rebate for my mobile phone; I inadvertently left the part blank where my mobile phone number would go. Needless to say, T-Mobile being who they are sent me a nice form letter as well as the rebate form pointing this out. What your wonderful customer sales rep neglected to provide with this documentation was the rest of what I had submitted. Like the side of the box and most importantly the cash register receipt. Nice going! Got to hand it to your staff they certainly know how to keep those rebate costs down. Because of course your income goes up for every person that does not cash in on this option. Or gets so frustrated that they just quit trying. Even nicer.

So anyway, I jot down my T-Mobile number in the space provided and send back exactly what you sent me. Two weeks later I get this same rebate form back with a different form letter. That's right, they sent me the wrong rebate form back that coincides with what the letter is referring to. So I explain all of this to Lisa, which she promptly tells me, there is nothing that she can do and that I need to resubmit ALL required forms again.

Excuse me??? You are the ones that screwed up and you want me to re-file all over again? First off, I don't have another box to cut up. Second I don't have a copy of my cash register receipt. Third, IT WAS YOUR SCREW UP. Is this YOUR idea of customer service? I certainly hope not. After butting heads with Lisa for a half hour, I ask to speak with her supervisor. Well on comes this guy who is Brian. I explain to Brian what I had just explained to Lisa and he tells me the same thing. I have a hunch that Brian was not the floor supervisor, but just another one of your corporate crony morons. After butting heads with this guy for another half hour I get off the phone and give the customer service at the headquarters in New Mexico a call. I speak with a Debbie there who tells me that they have nothing to do with the customer service that deals with rebates. Oh now isn't that special. What a surprise. I ask her what my recourse was at this point and she tells me that there isn't one. She also says by the way did you know that your account is 95.00 over due? I said yep and as soon as T-Mobile pays me my 100.00 I will give you your 95.00. Which is where we are at this point, if you follow me.

Mr. Stanton, I have currently reported you and your staff to the BBB. I know this is trivial to you at best, but it is only the beginning. I urge you to find some way to come to a mutual agreement for both of us in this matter and all will be left alone. I have a great knowledge of the business world and have taken on many other major corporations and won. You will not be the first nor I expect will you be the last. All I ask is a fair resolution to our problem. At the very least I would like you to honor your just debts without further delay. I would also like to see that Lisa, Brian, and Debbie be relieved of their positions. I also urge you to conduct some vigorous training in the customer service area so your reps at least know that it does at least exist. But, perhaps you enjoy getting these type of letters after all when you were Voice Stream you must have received many of them. Hence the reason why for the next year I will consider getting involved with your company one of the bigger mistakes that I have made and rank it right up there to marrying my first wife. Thanks for letting me take up your time and I hope you found at least some humor in this letter, for I intended it not to be facetious.
