I'm very unhappy about this company. Every month that I receive my bill, there's always a charge for unsolicited incoming text messages. Most of the messages are from spam sources which I didnt subscribe to in the first place. I have complained to their customer service about this issue and even asked them to disable this text feature. But they wouldnt disable this feature. I have followed their recommendation of filtering and blocking messages via their website. IT DOESNT WORK!!!!!! I have even asked the customer rep to do the filter setup for me, but it still didnt work. When they realize that this, they adviced that I should change my mobile number. However, they cant guarantee that I will no longer experience this issue. In other words, they dont have a solution to this problem and I will be continually rob of this inadequacy. Of course, why would they want stop themselves from making money out of this stupid scheme. Unfortunately, this company doesnt give a d**n about their customers.

#2 Consumer Suggestion
File an FTC complaint

I got a spam message on my phone once. It mentioned a website. WHOIS told me that the website had been registered the night before. I complained at FTC.ORG.
The website wasn't there the next day.
Maybe your phone company doesn't care, since to them it's a civil matter. The FTC enforces the law.
If they get enough complaints from citizens, the law can be changed to push enforcement back onto the phone companies.
#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
The system willl not allow it

As a former employee of T-Mobile customer care, I have an explanation of why T-Mobile can not block incoming SMS. The way their system is set up, if they block incoming SMS, the program will read the SMS as a minute of overage. While it would be great if this would not happen and they could block incoming SMS, at this time, their system will not allow them to do this. Most consumers would rather pay 5 cents for a message than 40 cents.
