Sorry to hear you were also scammed by TopResume! I went through a very similar experience and was able to get my money back by filing an online BBB.org complaint, as well as an FTC complaint.

It sure would be nice to see this company shut down and sued - if enough complaints come through about TopResume to the FTC, that is exactly what will happen.

What are the major complaints?

Promises 2-3 day delivery and takes up to a month (too bad it you are unemployed).

You are assigned a freelance writer who gets paid $20-$30 for your $100-$300 project.

Many of the writers are not in the US and speak English as a second language.

What should you do?

Immediately contact your credit card company and ask to file a reversal or dispute of the charge.
