Trim Genesis Scammed, ripped off, and belittled. Internet

I came across an add for a new weight loss supplement that showed that it had Dr. Oz's seal of approval. I read thru what little information there was in the add, then dialed the number.

The ordering process was very quick, the woman on the line explained that she herself had used the product and was very happy with it, "..you won't be disappointed.". She said that it was an introductory offer to get the product out into the public and that I only had to pay shipping and handling, which was $4.95. At no time was there EVER any mention of a trial, a subscription, nothing.

At check out she said that she could throw in 'Garcinia Cambogia' for $1. She said that the two together was the best way. So I agreed. A few weeks later I received a small bag with the bottles of supplements in it with no sales receipt/invoice, nothing...just the 2 bottles. A month later I received another small bag with 2 more bottles exactly the same way, with no invoice/sales receipt, nothing.

Today I got my credit card bill. They charged me $84.90 for the bottle of Garcinia Cambogia (60 pills/2x daily) and $84.97 for the Forskolin Extract (30 pills/ 1 x daily)! I called the numbers on my credit card statement and asked why they charged me so much. They guy on the other end went into a scripted speech saying that when I ordered from their web site that it explained that it was a 15 day trial. I tried to explain to him that I did NOT order via the website, that I had called in and that the woman NEVER said anything about a 15 day trial or that I would need to cancel, and she sure didn't tell me that they were going to charge such an ungodly amount. You can get the exact same thing from Wall-mart from $8.14 - $34.50.

He then continued saying that I signed a contract (which I did not) and I was legally bound to pay the price they charged. I told him I wanted this canceled immediately and he tried to offer me 30% off on my next 6 shipments. When I refused he offered 50% and 2 extra bottles for the next 6 months. 

I honestly started to think that I was going to have to call my credit card company because he just did not want to cancel my acct.

I am 52 years old and have been around the block once or twice, I can't believe that I fell into this trap.
