We purchased the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer from a TV advertisment. When we called to order the juicer they said if we would pay the total bill all at once instead of making it in three monthly payments of 49.95, we would pay only $9.99 for shipping and handling.

Our bill should have been 149.85 plus the $9.99 or a total of $159.84. When we got our credit card bill the charge was $201.18. When we called Tristar about the extra bill they said that the girl who took our order misinformed us. We could not get a satisfactory answer as to why this happened, only that they were sorry but we had to pay the $201.18. This is totally unacceptable and we are sending the Juicer back.

Unfortunately we will have to pay the shipping to get back plus they told us they keep $29.99 for shipping and handling the Juicer to us. I will never purchase another thing from Tristar or Jack LaLanne. They use false information to get you to buy their products.

TRISTAR PRODUCTS Bought 4 flexible green hoses, first one lasted 1 month, 2nd one broke same day purchased, bursts open, exchanged that one for a new one, that one bursted again within 3 days, returned that one bursted, --is laying in my back yard, and now the 1st one I purchased 07-13-05 bursted SO NO HOSE DO I HAVE, THE TWO I HAVE ARE GOING TO BE RETURNED TO STORE AND ASK FOR REFUND, AND WILL BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND. LOVED THE HOSE, BUT THE PRODUCT IS JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK BEING RETIRED AND OLDER IT WAS MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE, AND I DO NOT HAVE A BIG YARD, JUST HAVE TO WATER A SMALL FLOWER BED, AND VEGETABLE GARDEN.
