Universal Fidelity, LP Legal successor of Hollywood Video/Movie Gallery,INC False Charges to pay for their bankrupcy Crestview, Florida

Received a fake bill for Collections from Universal Fidelity, LP for the amount of $8.98 for movies that i never rented (May 02, 2009). The letter only gives a phone # to call and pay and does not allow for you to talk to anyone to contest the charges. Online I found another phone # for them (281) 647-4152 I called and spoke with a woman who basically told me that someone must have stollen my account and rented movies and turned them in late???? What sense does that make? She also said that it is to pay for the companies bankruptcy case and that it cannot go on my credit since they do not have my social security #, just my name and address.
