Universal Fidelity, LP Hollywood Video Liars trying to charge me for rentals from 2009/2010, while I paid for flat rental fee and cancelled prior to them going under Internet

Just received a collection notice from Universal Fidelity, LP for HOLLYWOOD Video stating that I owe them $29.57 for two rental movies, one rented in 2009 and the other in 2010. I went rounds with them for trying to continue to charge me a monthly fee that I asked to be cancelled. They kept telling me it was taken care of and I kept getting calls until finally I went in person to finally hash it out. I kept repeatedly asking to speak w/ a manager and there was never a manager available. And still reassured all was taken care of that they were not going to continue charging be this monthly rental fee to allow you to rent ex amt of movies a month that I was no longer taking advantage of and wanted stopped. The next thing I know, they go out of business and never ever ever hear a thing, Hallelujah... until a couple of days ago w/ a bill dated 03/12/12 insisting that this is an attempt to collect a debt and/or subrogation claim and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. This communication is from a debt collector. I've had it and I'm going to dispute this if it remotely comes close to being on my credit report.
