RIP OFF REPORT

To whom it may concern:

I am writing this e-mail in the hopes of warning others about the very deceitful tactics, and complete fradulenet misrepresentation of Univerasl Marketing Solutions and thier operations among their "representatives"

In January 2009 I was contacted by a woman named "Laural" cell# 530/524/8005 from Universal Marketing Solutions stating that they had a buyer for my royal Holiday Timeshare. After almsot 4 years of trying to sell my timeshare with 4 other timeshare listing (scam) wholesalers and spending over $2000 to do so I thought that Universal Marketing Solutions seemed a "legitimate company". I asked Laura several times to confirm that they had a buyer for my timeshare and she emphatically stated yes. She informed me that all I had to pay was: $1397.24 which were charges for the title search of deeded property in my name AND to transfer deeded timshare property into new buyers names. At this point when I had agreed she then transferred me to her boss: Mike Sills Dir. of Sales" cell# 561/901/4136. Mike told me the same thing that they indeed had a buyer and I had to pay the $1,397.24 which he reiterated were fees for title search and transferring deed of timeshare to new buyers. He also told me verbally that there was a guarantee of 120 days that should the timeshare not sell during this 120 day period-I would be reimbursed for the total amount of: $1,397.24. Mr. Sills stated that they would then send out the official sales agreement contract to me overnight mail listing the buyers and my name as seller for the timeshare with a greed upon price of $14K.

Approximately 2 days later I received from Universal Marketing Solutions a very cheap looking 1 page standard listing agreement for me to sign which I hesitated in signing at first because this was not the SALES contract that was promised VERBALLY by both Larua & Mike Sills to me when they called me. I even called Laurel on Feb 2, 2009 and explained to her my concerns that I am NOT listing my property with them but selling the property as per their verbal agreement and understanding discussion with me when they first approached me around the middle of January 2009 that they had a buyer.

Laurel "chewing gum" said to sign the form anyway and an official sales agreement would be sent overnight mail after I returned what appeared to be their standard "listing agreement" I signed and returned the form anyway expecting they would uphold their end of our verbal agreement. I called Mr. Sills also on Feb 2, 2009 as well on his cell# (561/901/4136) but his voice mail stated mail box full. l explained to Laurel that what she and Mike told me verbally a week ago was not the document that I was expecting, I asked for the actual sales agreement of the property as verbally discussed and she informed me it would be over nighted express mail which I never received.

Since that time, I have made repeated phone call attempts to Universal Marketing Solutions on February 9, 2009 ; February 12, 2009, February 15, 2009, February 20, 2009, February 23, 2009 ; March 2, 2009; April 5, 7, 19th, 29, and May 14, 2009. Each time Universal Marketing Solutions states: All operators are busy and their represetnatives will call you back within 24-72 hours (This is a lied-they've NOT once returned any of my phone calls) I also called Mr Sills at his number (561/901/4136) and his mail box is full-unable to leave messages. In February I failed a complaint with the BBB, the FTC and the State Attorneys General office in the state of Florida re. Universal Marketing Solution. I alos called my bank early February to reverse credit card transaction which I was notifed today: May 21, 2009 that they would not honor my request because I signed a listing agreement -when UMS told me verbally they would send me sellers/buyers contract as per vebal agreemnet-which differs from what they sent me.
c)

The bottom line, Universal Marketing Solutions agreed verbally to provide me a sales contract pursuant to the first time they called me mid January regarding my agreeing to sell my timeshare-not listing my timeshare with them to sell as there is a distinct difference. I never received the sale agreement that they promised to me that is the only reason I would authorize them to charge my credit card 1397.24. I already have my timeshare listed with four (4) other timeshare brokers to sell. Why would I agree to pay them to list my timeshare as well? I didn't-that is what is frustrating about this scam operation that they are perpetuating. Even on their listing agrement form it states to call a different number and when you do, again nobody returns your call.

Universal Marketing Solutions needs to be thouroughly investigated for wrongful, deceitful, deceptive and might I add-illegal sales tactics-by stating one thing to would be scammed victims which differs from completely to the document I signed (BAIT and SWITCH). Universal Marketing Solutions has lied to me (and hundreds of others through this on-line forum). I never agreed to list my time share with them-only to sell my timeshare based upon their informing me that they had a buyer when they first called me in January 2009. I unfortunately have been victimized of typical BAIT and SWITCH sales tactics by this company. I am not done fighting and will purse every possible means in obtaining the 1397.24 that Universal Marketing Solutions stole from me.
