On November 10, 2007, a young man came to our door and told us that he was trying to win a contest so that he could go to Cancun. His name is Adam Algar(so he said). We were led to believe it was for a school.

We ordered a magazine for our children for CHRISTmas and he assured us that it would be here by then with no problem. We paid $53 cash.

We saw him run and jump into a van a few houses above ours and at that point, we knew that something was not right. After looking at the copy of the order form, I saw that we had 3 days to cancel BY MAIL. What they do not tell you is that it is impossible to cancel regardless of whether you notify them within 3 business days or not, one of which is a Saturday.

I have never heard of that before and if it were truly a business day, they would be open. I would like to give them benefit of the doubt, but I have tried to contact them via e-mail and phone, but to no avail. They will not respond.

That $53.00 was taken out of the money my husband and I had put back for my children's CHRISTmas gifts. We could have bought them things they would actually receive.

My husband is the only one who works and we do not have extra money, so that is what makes this so bad for us.

I hope that someone will read this and it will help them.
