I worked here for 9 months, and never once had a 40 hour regular scheduled week. The schedule is put out once a week, and you rarely have the same hours or shifts as the last. The officers who show up late everyday, leave early as much as possible, and have zero respect for the client, the other officers, and the property itself are the officers that get promoted. I was promoted to Supervisor as a "last resort" and also to make it where, as per COMPANY POLICY, I was then unable to refuse overtime. I was informed that as a supervisor I was required to always answer my phone, always be available to cover shifts, and enforce the rules/regulations/policies put in place by the client, the account manager, or USSA themselves.

I did all of that, working a minimum of 64 hours every week. Sometimes 24 hour shifts. Often with only 4 hours in between my next shift. I don't believe I ever worked less than 12 hours in a shift, except for my first week. I worked three 12s and three 8s that week. Still more than is normal, which should have been a HUGE red flag. I was informed there was a 90-day raise based on attendance. I was never once late, I worked every shift that I was asked to, I stayed over when my releiving officer was late (which is almost a daily occurance), AND the account manager gave me an exceptional performance review with a request to make me supervisor. The "office" denied my raise because "the supervisors make more, so I'm already getting a raise". Which the account manager assured me he would straighten it out, and that the raise would reflect in Early February, which would be 120 days instead of 90, but close enough. That never reflected, even though I was told every pay week that it would reflect on this check. The same thing happened with the 90-day supervisor raise.

Once you reach 70 hours in a week, payroll will no longer accept your hours. They seem to just disapear, honestly. The hours are written on your pay stub, but not the wages. I worked two solid weeks(14 days) of 16 hour shifts, that's 112 hours per week and 224 hours total, which was shown on the stub. However, I was paid for 160 hours. I was told that payroll only approves up to 80 hours per week AFTER I already worked the time. I called payroll directly, and was informed that the account manager was paid the difference and that I needed to ask him for cash to cover the missing hours.

Not to mention the other supervisors are openly smoking meth and pot on property where the cameras can see it all, snorting cocaine AT THE FRONT DESK off of their fingers. They give the same excuse of "this is the only way to keep up with these crazy hours", which I would understand if they were working crazy hours. Oddly enough, I was the only who submitted all time sheets to payroll, so I was literally required to add up everybody's hours weekly. I would always ave the most hours by at least 25 hours EVERY WEEK. I never once touched drugs. I lived off of energy drinks and caffeine pills, though.

The officers and other supervisors constantly complained that I was "stealing" all the hours and "forcing" people to go home just so I could work overtime. This is incredibly amusing, considering I was usually covering shifts due to call offs and no call no shows. Not to mention the fact that I would request days off so that I wasn't working 7 days a week all the time, and was told that I would still be expected to answer my phone. I typically ended up going in on my "days off" to avoid the trade option (well I worked this day, so now I need this day off), which was the main cause for my 24 hour shifts.

Once I finally had enough and quit, suddenly there were no hours for me in my last two weeks. I worked a TOTAL of 30 hours for my last check. THEN when I went to return my uniforms, I was told that my two weeks notice would not be honored because I worked less than 32 hours each week. They filed me away as a termination that is not rehirable. Thank God they have such a bad reputation that employers after them said "That's not really considered legitimate to any real company. Everybody knows how shady they are" when the background shows a termination.
