An unauthorized and unknown account was opened by USA Credit in my name which I recently found on my credit report as open credit. I have never received any phone calls or correspondence by mail. How could this be? I have never heard of this company. I, too was charge a $149 fee, also unauthorized.

file a complaint there and ask for your money refunded plus 15% for pain and suffering and a letter stating they will not charge you again. Also ask for an investigation into their business practices. Just getting a refund should not be a settlement.
