I was also contracted by Venus Models for an Industrial Video shoot in Kentucky back in June 2010. I traveled from Miami to shoot at the clients studio in Kentucky for a 2 day shoot with lots of technical dialogue. My rate for the 2 day shoot was $2000 flat rate, plus she charged the clients a 30% commission fee on top of my rate. One week later, the clients requested I record a voiceover for them. The rate was $300 with her 30% commission.
I have been contacting Venus since early July 2010, in an attempt to collect my money. She also promised to send the check the following week. It still has not been sent. I have been following up with her through emails, text messages, and numerous phone calls which she does not return.
The clients have requested a Talent Release for my image and likeness, which I have and more than willing to provide to the clients once I get paid. Venus has been made aware of this and she has not addressed the situation. She has been avoiding me and the clients for the last 7 months.
Venus Models owes me $2300 and recently sent me a message on Facebook saying that she can't pay me.
