Vonage Big Business Don't let them rip you off Holmdel New Jersey

Vonage Customer Service talked me into prepayment for l year and charge my credit card. One year later June 11, 2008 $299.17 was charged to my credit card account without my knowledge or approval. Called Vonage in August to cancel service as they didn't provide the service I needed. Cust. Service told they would not issue a credit to my card nor would they issue refund. Charge to cancel was $39.99. I told them not to charge my cr. card acct. but they did anyway. I called them many times with no response and finally wrote to them, no answer.

I called my credit card co. they tried to get my money back for me but were unable to. They said they would try again but didn't think it would do any good with Vonage as they said their policy was not to refund for prepaid accounts. Vonage never told me at any time that this was their policy. They now have stolen $339.16 from me. Credit card Service Rep told me even if I cancelled the card they could still charge to it.
Don't let them take your money or any personal information from you.
