If you are not aware yet of the big price differences between the 2 Walmart stores here in Findlay Ohio go out and price some items at the Trenton Avenue store and then go to the Tiffin Avenue Walmart and check the same items and see how many are priced lowere at the Tiffin Avenue Walmart??
Walmart claims there is less competition at the Trenton Avenue store so they can have higher prices on the exact same item than at their Tiffin Avenue store a few miles away.
Basically what they are saying is that they can rip off people at the Trenton Avenue store.
Both stores get the same merchandise from their same warehouse delivered to them by Walmart trucks.
There is no reason at all for Walmart to rip off consumers just for buying at their Trenton Avenue store.
Shop around and you will see the price difference between the two stores.
Walmart will honor a ad from another store but they will not honer price differences between Walmarts.
Consumers it is time to shop elsewhere and show Walmart they are not alone in the consumers shopping network.

And?

I am no fan of Wal-Mart and will avoid it if at all possible. However, they are allowed to charge what ever they want. There is no law that requires a store to charge the exact same price from location to location.
As a test select a gas station chain in your city and see how many locations have a different price. You will find that there are differences, and I would hope that if you really feel this way that everyone must charge the same that you would write a RipOff report on each and every one....Actually please don't write any reports on these stations.
You also have not mentioned any examples of these "big price differences" you are claiming.

Is It Right That Walmart Rips Off Customers???????

Do you feel it is fair to its customers that Walmart rips off its own customers by charging more for the exact same item at different Walmart Stores????
They claim Location is why they have higher prices at some of their Walmart Stores.
I think it is just a excuse so they don't have the pay the price difference between there own stores.
They say they will honor other stores ads for items they carry and Walmart will give you the other stores lower price on sale items, but Walmart will not honor price differences between their own stores.
People, do yourself a favor and just shop somewhere else besides Walmart. if they feel they can rip off customers by charging higher prices at some of their stores then Walmart does not need our business do they??

Walmart pricing is directly determined by the financial demographic of the neighborhood or area they are in, and how much competition is around them. That's why when winn dixie, albertsons, giant eagle, or any other mom and pop not as big as wally-world store closes near them, the prices increase accordingly. Unfortunatly, this is the nature of buisness in general. Every store in america does it. There are a few reasons to choose not to shop at wallly world, but that's not one of them.

Shop at the other store

I am from Bettsville and I have shopped at both Wal-Marts. I have a BA in Business Management from Tiffin University and what Wal-Mart is doing is completely good business and makes perfect sense.
The Trenton Ave store does not have as many shopping options around it to compete with; however, the Tiffin Ave store has many other competitors around it. The reason that the Tiffin Ave store's prices are lower because they must lower them to compete with the other stores around them. They want their prices to be as low-or lower-than their compitetiion so people chose them over their neighbor.
If it is really that big of a problem, why not drive to the other end of town and shop at the Tiffin Ave Wal-Mart. I mean, afterall, was it not you who stated it was only "a few miles"?

Walmart is not Fair

So what everyone is saying then, Walmart is not fair when it comes to treating customers with price differences between there own stores.
Walmart will honor price differences between other stores, such as Meijers, etc. if you show them in a sales flier the sale price that store is advertising, but Walmart will not honor price differences between their own stores.
I will shop elsewhere before ever going back to another Walmart store.
Basically what Walmart is saying is that they can rip people off in the same town at a different Walmart store and claim it on how much competition is in that certain area????
Walmart must think everyone is stupid or something to try and put that over on consumers.

I don't totally agree with Wal-mart, but bottom line: they can charge what they want per store. Other companies do this, too. This isn't uncommon.
