My 17 year old son was accused of taking a $3 pack of magic markers form Walmart. Went to court, paid $500 for pre-trial intervention to expunge child's record. Court dismissed it and Walmart banned my son from ALL its stores FOREVER and said if he is even in their parking lot he will be arrested for trespassing. This is a Walmart policy! People in prison get less punishment. I thought once you paid for your crime it was finished, I guess not at Walmart!!

Record Expunged?

AUTHOR: Gerry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 19, 2006

Just something for kids to keep in mind, and also parents who think they can simply buy their kids out of trouble by having their "record Expunged". Don't bet on it! Its never completely Expunged. Don't believe me? Ok let your kid try to get a real good job in 10 or 20 years, that requires a stringent background check. Or a Job that requires a "security Clearance". Any application you fill out asks have you ever been arrested"

My point is that Teenagers better think twice about something stupid they do now! It may haunt them their whole lives. I know people personally that this has happened to!

As far as Todd goes.....

AUTHOR: Ruth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 19, 2006

I stated this in other postings of Todd's/whoever.
Todd by his own postings, stated he shopped at wal mart regularly, eating in the deli, and suppossedly taking the item to the cashier, now I have to say here too, he had to have seen news reports AGAINST wal mart and continued to do 150.00 worth of shopping there, not giving a tinkers about the WRONGLY ACCUSSED as long as he and his family could eat for free, it was NOT UNTIL he got caught eating food and NOT paying for it , he went on this walmart injustice campiagn trying to save the "GOOD FOLKS" out there,

wal mart was alright as long as he could continue to eat there for free and the news reports bashing wal mart didn't bother him a bit , until HIS FREE RIDE WAS UP!

Now he runs around acting like God condemning people, and using religion to berate and insult people,

Nick:) you are right maybe the POSTER should go see his postings with all the ranting and raving, and he admits he shopped there frequently, until he was caught STEALING, then after he was caught and could no longer eat for free while his wie shopped hewent on this campaign for justice for all these "poor people" wal mart has wronged.
I have no doubt all the stories he posts about walmart, would not be on here, if he could still feed his family for free there.

So, don't be fooled by Todd /whoever , he was a regular walmart shopper until he got caught and he didn't give a tinkers then as long as he was getting something for free, about all these "poor people" he is trying to save now.

THat makes him a hypocrite and a WALMANITE as well as his many "other "personalities, and Todd/whoever, if I am on wal marts payroll, can I have my check please, I didn't realize I could get paid for sticking up for them against you....

You're the most bitter, resentful and unforgiving person I've ever seen online

AUTHOR: Nick - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 18, 2006

Here we go again!

Thanks for another ((YAWN)) post, Todd.

Todd said:
I think WalMart has a policy to hire the lowest, meanest, and disrespectful people they can find to be their LP reps.

- Boy, too bad they didn't find YOU, Todd. You're the most bitter, resentful and unforgiving person I've ever seen online. You'd have been perfect. Unfortunately, your sandwich thievery prevents you from working as a LOSS PREVENTION, since their LOSS PREVENTION prevented YOU from them LOSING money!

I gotta disagree, Ruth. OP should go read Todd's post and see what a horse's a$$ he's made of himself. If he's going to offer "sound advice", at least let someone know what kind of empty headed rat's nest it's coming from.

Todd said:
Notice that same "insulters" post their claim's that they first believed the story, but then claimed that the posting is a lie, and then begin insulting the original posting. These are all attempts to cause harm to the posting.

-And for the record, Todd, I never believed your story, and I never said I did. It took a lot of time and perseverance to finally get the truth - and several times, your story changed.

Todd said:
No one is above the Laws of this Nation

-And you should know best. Did you learn your lesson? I have to ask, because you continue to blame Wal-Mart for your theft, and never EVER ONCE took personal responsibility.

I'm glad to see that people are beginning to realize that just because a corporation is big, and huge, and successful, that taking a $3.00 set of markers IS still stealing, and IS a big deal and are willing to press charges over it.

Good for Wal-Mart, and good riddance to the suckers who "forget to pay". Good grief, people, pay for your stuff. From the indication of whiners like Todd, if someone broke into your house, you'd be demanding the police immediately recover your stuff and press charges on the theif.

Or can just anyone break in your house and take what they want and just "forget" to ask for it?

Oh God Todd is EVERYWHERE

AUTHOR: Ruth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 10, 2006

Todd regardless of what you think of me , can you see the PROBLEM HERE? by the mothers own admission, he 'forgot" to pay for the markers,he put them IN HIS POCKET, that to a security gaurd would LOOK like stealing, he walked out of the store with them, and that, TODD, is shoplifting whether he meant it or not, why would you have to expunge your kids record? over 3.oo markers?

Todd, I really wish you would quit with the preaching it is tireless, and it doesn't have anything to do with the point. MY son has accidently walked out of a store (he was 7 at the time) had a pack of YU _gi _oh cards that I meant to pay for and didn't realize they didn't get put up there with the rest of the packs I had bought for him, I checked my receipt( looking for something else, I thought they may not have given the sale price on)Thats when I noticed that only 3 were paid for not 4, and I took him back in and explained to customer service what happened and they were fine with it, becuase I was honest enough to come back in. they were only 3.99 and noone would have ever known he had them, and I didn't pay for them, BUT ME AND HIM, and I wanted to teach him you have ot make sure YOU pay for stuff.I also taught my son a valuable lesson that day.

Also , Todd don't send people to that site #1164, makes you look like a maniac, and it isn't true and next time you shop PA for food before you eat it , and then don't go posting something that isn't true, even the name "todd" is fictious.

Todd: They hire the lowest, meanest people for their LP's? Really?!?!

Hmmmm, doesn't sound very christian of you to put it like that. Sounds awefully Judgemental of you to lump a whole division of a company into one neat nasty package.

Like: food Service people are good.
bill collectors will burn in the pits of jello.
And CEO's: nah, will pass on that.

I bet the kid thinks twice about using that back pocket again, though.

some serious markers.

AUTHOR: M (FlyingScooter) - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 10, 2006

You paid 500.00 to clear his record. Question: He must've been found guilty of something, or what record would there be to clear?
Maybe if you offered Walmart 500.00, they'd let him in their parking lot again. Nah, save your money.
Knowing people that work in many industries, insurance, health, law enforcement, retail, they constantly tell me that people are blaming cell phones for everything from shoplifting to vehicular homicide. The cellphone made me do it has replaced the devil made me do it.
If walmart doesn't want him in their lot or their stores, they don't want his money. Or your money either if you stand by him. or your friends money and so on.

Don't get me wrong, I have a daughter, that when she was a teen had a very colorful background. When she found out she could get her JUVY record sealed, she hit me up for the money. I told her no: YOU made the record, You fix the record.

Interesting

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 10, 2006

Oh No, here comes todd. God help us. It's an interesting point that the mother makes that her son DID, in fact, "forget" to pay for the markers while he did pay for the other items. In the past, I've arrested enough shoplifters to know the drill. After going to court and getting the arrest dismissed and the record expunged, the end result is only his inability to return to walmart. The point of her 17 year old son? I was in the Marines at 17, with parental consent. Maybe todd can associate with her son.

Another Sample Of The Wickedness of Walmanites!

AUTHOR: Todd - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 09, 2006

In the South, we have these insects that buzz around and suck our blood. I notice this posting has the same type of bloodsuckers, (Ruth, Nick, and Others).

Connie, I can understand your story. I would not have paid Wal Mart ANYTHING, and would have fought them in court to prove that your son did the crime.

These LP (Loser People), go around thinking they are above the law and that no one has any rights. And these Police, (which many are hired when off-duty by Wal Mart), refuse any rights of the people and just arrest them without any evidence! Wal Mart has basically said your son's life is ONLY worth a few markers! But yet, these same lowlives will argue for their own rights if it was violated.

I am sorry for your case, but keep your head up and keep being a voice against the wrongs. No one is above the Laws of this Nation, no matter if they are a large corporation like Wal Mart, (which pays large amounts of funds to our elected representatives). Remember, Enron, Worldcom, and other corporations like them thought they were free to violate the laws of the land as well, and look what happen to them.

On this website, RipOffReport, I see many reports of aggressive and disrespectful measures against people's rights. And these "insulters, Walmanites", flood good folks postings in attempts to cause them to stop posting and "flooding" the posting to cause people not to believe the story.

But the TRUTH can never be dismissed. People are waking up to the problems by this corporation, WalMart and others like it.

Take a look at my posting at what happen to Todd in Columbia, SC. (Wal-Mart Supercenter Store #1164 Shoplifting: Falsely Accused of Eating Food And Not Paying! Columbia South Carolina )

Notice that same "insulters" post their claim's that they first believed the story, but then claimed that the posting is a lie, and then begin insulting the original posting. These are all attempts to cause harm to the posting.

Tell your son, I am sorry he went into Wal Mart and was mistreated in this manner. Tell him, "He does not need Wal Mart, and He can go somewhere else!"
I think WalMart has a policy to hire the lowest, meanest, and disrespectful people they can find to be their LP reps. They have even gone so far as to MURDER a man in Texas. I do not care if these low lives claim this or claim that, to defend this murderess action as being proper in so wrong! Just like what Jesus said, They (the wicked) are seeds of their father, who was a murder at the beginning. These Walmanites go around destroying people's lives and claiming it was proper to do so.

May God bless you and your son, and may he use this event to give him the push to become a fighter for people's rights and a voice for righteousness.

Praise God, He Gave Todd the VICTORY!

Amen!

okay, I am shocked I thought by YOUR title he was a little boy who accidently had the markers, cashier didn't see them etc. Felt bad for him then I read on, and you know what STANDS OUT TO ME? HE PUT THEM IN HIS BACK PCKET TO ANSWER HIS CELL PHONE, WAL MART HAS BAKETS AND CARTS, IF HIS HANDS WERE GONNA BE SO FULL HE NEEDEDHIS POCKETS, WHY NOT GRAB A LITTLE RED BASKET? SOUNDS FISHY TO ME TOO.

One more thing having raised 2 teenagers and having a 9 year old, just becuase the boy works, and goes to school does not mean he is incapable of doing it either, unfortunately as mothers, we cannot be there every second to see what they are up to and I bet at 17 your little boy has done things behind your back you know nothing of....

caught stealing

AUTHOR: Stephen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 03, 2005

this has to be a fake report! i got caught stealing from wal-mart when i was 14. i was trying to steal about $50 worth of music cd's. i never had to pay anything nor did my mother. i never even went to court! all that happen was i was "handcuffed" and led through the store to embarres me. when i got to the police station, they called my mother and wastold that i was not allowed to go to wal-mart for 6 months. that's it! nothing about court. nothing about paying fines. nothing about trespassing. so Connie, your son would have to have stole more than a $3 pack of markers for something like this to happen

I can't imagine the policy coming out and arresting a teenager a $3 pack of magic markers. I suspect that the original postor is either a disgruntled employee of Walmart and made the story up. Either that or her son took a LOT more than just some magic markers.

What a crock! perhaps a little historical perspective is needed here.

AUTHOR: James - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 12, 2005

Contrary to what mama would have you believe, a 17 year old is hardly a kid. Sure, it makes a good headline, just as it did here, but it's hardly the truth. So, perhaps a little historical perspective is needed here. Nearly a quarter of all enlisted casualties in Vietnam were between the ages of 17 and 19 years old. Those teenagers were never able to set foot on Walmart property again either, and they didn't steal a damned thing.

I guess this guy is just going to have to suck it up and try to live through this "tragedy".

This looks like another case of mishandling by LP.

AUTHOR: Patrick - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 12, 2005

It seems to me that if Connie is correct, and her son was not intentionally stealing the markers, then LP may not have handled the situation properly.

I'm wondering exactly how this went down. At the very least, LP should have given him the chance to explain what happened. He had purchased other itmes, so he probably had the means to pay for the markers. He should have been given the opportunity to do so.

But since he was a "punk kid shoplifter" in the eyes of LP, I'm not surprised he wasn't given the chance. It seems that most (notice I said "most", not "all") LP are on a power trip, and think they have the same powers as the police. This simply is not true. In fact, they are very limited in their powers, and use the ignorance of the average person to their advantage.

Connie, you son's rights were violated, plain and simple. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be much you can do about it at this point as you have already paid to have his record expunged. Besides, I don't know of any lawyers that would be willing to go up against Wal-Mart in this case.

Fair enough naive to knowledgable

AUTHOR: Nikki - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 12, 2005

He took them, he learned his lesson. Whether it was intentional or not, he took them without paying for them. So whats bad about a company protecting itself? No one is judging your kid, all we are going by is what you put in your post. You keep refering to him as a child. When I first read this I thought the poor boy was 7 or 8 years old, not 17, almost an adult. Ive had to learn some hard lessons myself, one in particular cost me over $5000. My mom didnt go through any trouble to help me and I learned not to ever do it again. I wasnt a bad kid, held a 30 hr/week job while attending highschool, taking an occcasional college class, and I was 17 at the time. I made a mistake and learned. Thats how you go from naive to knowledgable. Hopefully he learned from it.

Do you have children or do you work for Walmart?
My son did accidentally leave the store with the item, but had paid for his other things. He had put them in his back pocket while answering his cell phone, went thru checkout and forgot he had them. Was given no chance to explain. My son is a good kid plus plus holds a job while attending school. You don't know my child so it really is not your place to judge whether or not he
"skated" by on this or not. I really can't see a 17 year old boy stealing a box of markers for school!!

What's Wrong With That

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 04, 2004

Your son ripped off Walmart and they banned him from the premises. Just because you spent the money to have his record expunged and the court dismissed it doen't make any difference. I notice you didn't say whether he took the markers or not just that it was dismissed. Sounds like a good policy to me. Maybe the kid needs a little intimidation. He skated on this one. He might not be so lucky the next time. He has to learn there are consequenses to his actions. Good luck.
