I found an unsolicited charge on my credit card from Wellness MD. When I called to ask what I bought, they said I "automatically" ordered from them via Internet when I bought a trial bottle of Acai berry from Nubodi, Inc.
Nubodi, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL - aka Extreme Acai Berry of Davie, FL is another fraudulent company.
Their game is getting customers' credit card information by luring them into a very modest purchase. Mine was a $3.95 trial bottle of Acai berry, a diet supplement. If you click on their Terms it says that your purchase was also an agreement to continue being charged $89.31 per month. You are directed to call a phone number to cancel, but the phone number is a farce, and when you call you're just on hold for a long time. No one answers.
Furthermore, their Privacy Policy states that they share and also sell your information to others. Therefore, you are forced to do as I did: (1) dispute the charges with your credit card company and cancel the card too, (2) put an Alert on your credit, (3) file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection Agency, Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) complaint form: https://complaint.ic3.gov/ctf.aspx, Phonebusters, National Fraud Information Center (NFIC), Identity Theft Assistance Center (ITAC), etc.
I am filing complaints with as many of these agencies as possible to catch Internet sharks such as these.
Thank you, Ripoff Report, for your very valuable consumer service!

Well, I have been reading all these reports against WellnessWatchersMD and as a customer I have to defend them here. I bought the teeth whitener and the terms and conditions were plain as day. It specifically said that I would get a $50.00 rebate on the product from WWMD and i would first be charged 1.83 to set up my temporary account. It also said if I did not call to cancel within 14 days I would be billed as a member. I dont understand why there are complaints when all the information is put there? Ima regular on their website and I love the teeth whitener. WWMD's online physician has saved me alot of money and they have been great to me.

Teeth Whitener: "Teeth Whiteners Exposed" ad is Wellness Watchers MD too.

I got suckered again. I am so mad at myself. While reading some news at WKYC.com, I saw an ad that said "Teeth Whiteners Exposed." I clicked on the ad, because WKYC is a reputable news agency, but little did I know about their advertisers! The ad lead me to purchase a teeth whitener (I'm a coffee drinker), so I put in my visa information, and what happened? I discovered to my horror that the purchase was with Wellness Watchers MD. I can't believe that they are still out there scamming people!
I had to close my visa account last fall (Sept. 2008) due to Nubodi Inc. and Wellness Watchers MD making unauthorized charges and selling my personal information.
Now, I find that I've fallen victim to another scam! I feel very stupid, but I want to pass along this information to anyone who is in the same boat or smart enough to check out Wellness Watchers and the teeth whitener scam ahead of time.
I've already started trying to cancel my order and notifying my credit card to block any charges from Wellness Watchers MD, but if they sell my information, who knows where the charges might come from.

Nubodi Inc., Acai berry, and Wellness Watchers MD - Thieves!

The complaint I filed with the Better Business Bureau in Florida attempted to negotiate with Nubodi, and imagine this - Nubodi reported they had never done business with me, they say they did not share my information with Wellness Watchers MD, and if I would just "send them my personal information and credit card numbers again" then they will try to find me in their system. Ha! What a laugh!
The BBB should be ashamed to even negotiate such scandalous requests when they know what kind of people they're dealing with (BBB gave this company a grade of "F" on their website).
I also alerted the Chamber of Commerce in Davie, Florida as to the scandalous activities of Nubodi and Wellness Watchers, and the Davie Chamber of Commerce was kind enough to call me. The gentleman there informed me that the telephone number for Nubodi: 801-208-7485 is NOT even a Florida telephone number, but the address they are using: 4650 SW 51st Street, Suite 711, Davie, Florida 33314 - IS an actual address.
Soon after my conversation with the helpful gentleman at the Davie Chamber of Commerce, a woman from Oregon called me to say that the she was given my number by the Davie Chamber of Commerce as another person who had been scammed by Nubodi, Acai berry scam, and I told this lady to beware of Wellness Watchers MD too. Unfortunately for this lady in Oregon, she purchased the products with her debit card, so the money is gone from her bank account forever, and I doubt that she'll see it back again. I encouraged her to close her account so that they can't get at any more of her hard earned cash.
I sincerely wish that someone out there would go after these people - Nubodi and Wellness Watchers MD - and put them behind bars. They are getting rich off of a lot of unsuspecting health conscious people.
