I called West Coast Auto Sales in Montclair Ca. about a Corvette for sale I saw on Auto Trader. For it's year, milange, and condition it was price WAY too low compared to others of the same variables at $32K. I was told it was already sold, but they wanted my info so they could "Contact me" if one like it became available. Then a month later I saw the same car STILL on the same site for the same price.

When you put the VIN # in Google you see the car was listed on Auto Showcase of Carol Stream (another completly different dealer, different state) for $49,077 over $17,000 more than was advertised by West Coast Auto Sales. This was a price commensurate with the car, variables, and milage.

This dealership is just putting cars out there like this as a "Come-on" to suck people in to get their info trying to bait and switch them to other "Available" cars. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

And while you're at it, be aware of any dealership that puts a car on line for MUCH too low a price compared to others. If you call about it, it will probably be "Already sold".

First of all, I would like to state that I'm a former client of Sam Hijazi... and he's the "OWNER" of the dealership, not just a sales guy as he represents here in the above statement. You can see his LinkedIn profile below. Basically this guy is an absolute LIAR!!! He usually promises you everything you like to hear, and tells you he will do those things ONLY WHEN YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT NOW!!! and makes you sign a contract just like he did to me... and once you sign that contract he ABSOLUTELY DISSAPEARS!!! LIKE HE DOES NOT WORK THERE ANYMORE TYPE OF DISSAPEARS… This guy is the worst guy I’ve ever met in my car shopping experience… type of a guy you want to stay away from…

I mean, this guy will lie to you sooooo professionally, you will think he's your brother or family... I usually do not fall for a liar, but this guy is a piece of work, I'll tell you that!

Bottom line... Sam Hijazi sold me a car back in 2012, which I wrote a report about in the link below, and the sad thing is that he keeps doing this to people and thinks that a 15 year old business model of cheating people out of their money is a proper and acceptable way of doing business this day and age of the Internet. You need to change your ways son! Shame on you... what if someone did the same thing to your father? Ruin the man's savings and credit and make him miserable for the little amount of time he has on this earth? What would you do? Would you still have that stupid grim on your face trying to look innocent? I don't think so!

I work for Westcoast Auto and i am the one responsible for the online inventory, so I know what I'll be talking about below.

It seems this person is confusing Westcoast Auto with some other dealer. From the picture attached it is very obvious that this Corvette was never part of our inventory as we always take pictures in the same setting and background of our own dealership and have nothing to do with "Auto Showcase of Carol Stream" which is displayed behind the vehicle in the attached picture. Even the price claimed by this person is far from reality. At the time of writing this, we have 3 different Corvettes and all of them are priced below $38,000 with miles as low as 6,000 miles, so a price of $49,000+ is more than an exaggeration!

Westcoast never practiced pressure of selling to any customer and will never do, so gathering information from any caller is not the first priority and is not its policy. A claim of bait and switch can easily be refuted by going to any other online reputation website like yelp or google places to read about the exceptional service Westcoast provides and how its never in the dealership interest to practice any shady activity.

But yet again, 5 minutes after this report was posted here, we started receiving emails claiming that its a service that can remove this report for a certain one time fee thats upwards of $5,000 or a monthly fee of $100 which makes you wonder. (Will leave the rest to your imagination and how you think businesses make money) 

Westcoast Auto Sales is not an inventory management website. Westcoast prides itself with obtaining high end vehicles for the best prices and offering them for the most competitive prices in the market while providing the best and most professional customer service and repair service in the area. From day one, Westcoast's advertised prices has been "What you see is what you get" plus fees and accessories.

This report seems to have no real grounds to support it and it is in Westcoast best interest to sell a car as that's why we are in business instead of baiting and switching potential customers especially for a car that is claimed to be still available after a month although the potential customer was told it was sold a month ago. Why would any dealership decline a sale and keep a car for a full month before selling it? The conclusion is one of two options; either the website is running some shady operation (referenced above) or who ever wrote the claim is Westcoast's desperate competition as it is obvious that they can't top Westcoast reputation and customer satisfaction so they are going down the road of defamation which can only lead to a losing lawsuit.
