The sales representative, Jeff Scholz, with Wholesale Payment Solutions blatantly lied about signing my company, Qwik Race Cars, up for a new credit card processing service. Wholesale Payment Solutions also represents Retriever Payment Solutions and Lease Finance Group. He told me that I could cancel the contract at any time with no out of pocket expense. He also deliberately did not leave me a key page of the contract stating the terms for which was included in the service, which stated the terms "$79.99 for 48 months." He never mentioned the $79.99 for 48 months. He never showed me options for a credit card machine. I have the original contract he left me, which does not include these terms. It says nothing about a "Non-Cancelable Lease." Once I received a letter from Lease Finance Group stating what Qwik Race Cars was going to be charged monthly for a machine I didn't even ask for, I immediately tried to cancel the service. At this point I contacted Lease Finance Group to cancel the contract, I was told it was not cancelable, and they faxed me over a copy of the contract which I have never seen. The contract has false information on it, it states that I am the owner of the business when in fact Bob Williams is the owner. I have mailed the credit card machine via UPS to Lease Finance Group. Mr. Scholz knowingly conned me and the business I work for into a contract that is not cancelable. He will not return my phone calls. He lied, mislead, deceived, and misrepresented his product. I have filed complaints with FTC on Lease Finance Group, and BBB on Wholesale Payment Solutions. I hope that these companies are brought to justice.

Never Lease a Counter Top Terminal

AUTHOR: Tim - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, December 17, 2018

Most credit card terminals are actually under $200.00. Wireless usually around $500.00 - $600.00. Buy the terminal outright, and be done with it. Make sure it's not locked in case you decide to switch processing providers, you can download the new provider's software instead of buying a new terminal. I can see leasing a wireless, but with all the mobile phone options these days, you can probably avoid it.

Lindsey you need to call Retriever and threaten...

AUTHOR: Shawn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 22, 2007

Lindsey:

If you are not an authorized signer, and or they cannot produce contract with your signature. They must cancel both the contract for services and the Lease Agreement. They are both seperate contracts however, and dont have any bearing on each other as far as service. I take care of the Credit Cards for several large Texas racing tracks, and race car builder/parts companies. And unfortunately they think that we that race are just dumb rednecks. I'm in Seagoville Tx. and you may contact me further if you need. But I will end with these 2 bits of advice for all. Have the owner of the business call processor and threaten to contact the Federal Trade Commission on them, not satisfied then contact and file with the Federal Trade Commission. You may have a more difficult time with the lease if they have signed agreement. Everyone reading this DONT PAY MORE THAN $50.00 per month on a 48 month lease and thats only on a new Wireless machine (Lipman 8000).New dial-up machines range from 19.95 a month to no more than 24.95, and 29.95 to 39.95 for new DSL machines.
