They jack up the monthly fees to OUTRAGEOUS amounts without proper due notice and ongoing notices and are thieves!!!  My monthly fee was promised at ~$18 and they jacked it up to ~$94 for failure to comply with PCI (without ongoing due notifications!!)  I was with United Merchant Services for years and they had my back.  I should not have changed.  Do NOT do business with World Pay!  Please contact me for a class action lawsuit against them!!!

World Pay and Philip Jansen are not ethical

AUTHOR: Consumer - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 30, 2019

REASONS WHY YOU'RE REBUTTAL IS STUPID AND ERRONEOUS

1. World Pay does NOT properly inform merchants about PCI non-compliance

2. Merchants have notification about PCI

3.  What World Pay merhcants should do is find another credit card processor, such as United Merchant Servies or UMBBanking, which contact their merchants ahead of time to make sure they are compliant

Wisen Up

AUTHOR: a REAL consumer - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, April 26, 2019

My prior company was proactive in reaching out to keep us informed and stay in compliance.  We never had and issue with them in over 15 years of business.  With World Pay, there was inadequate information sent to us about this!  I checked my e-mail and phone record and have not received anything!

You have OBVIOUSLY missed the point!  You sound ignorant.  I am not stating that we should not be in PCI compliance.  I am stating that World Pay dropped the ball in informing us in a timely and effective manner and have benefitted by jacking up the prices by almost almost 5x more!!!!!

If you are a really marketer who is getting paid by World Pay, you may want to get them to proactively communicate with their clients!  Either way, wisen up.

What's the Problem with PCI Compliance?

AUTHOR: Jim - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, April 25, 2019

Being PCI complaint protects you and protects your customers.  The idea that your pissed off because you aren't PCI complaint is really your own fault because your merchant probably informed you months ago about the importance of being PCI compliant.  Now you understand why it was important.  And your merchant had no notification either - that's a passed down cost.

Now, every merchant out there is passing along the cost of being non-PCI compliant - even the very large merchants like Elavon.  No matter which merchant you're going to go to, you will pay that charge if your firewalls aren't PCI compliant.  The real shame is that your firewalls are probably fine and you would be PCI complaint; all you have to do is go to a website the merchant uses to verify PCI compliance; if I recall Elavon uses Safemaker.

What you really should do, rather than complain, is speak with your merchant provider and ask them what it would take to become PCI complaint so you can avoid the non-PCI compliance charge because it is an avoidable charge.  Best of luck to you.
