wrist-band.com Will not honor immediate cancellation Internet

Required wristbands for a deadline. I specifically looked on search engine for .co.uk companies. I completed the online form specifying the dates must be with me. I paid by credit card and an invoice was sent to me at 12:34. I immediatly checked the invoice and discovered that the company could not meet the deadline require despite completeing the form correctly. At 12:43, I emailed sales@thewrist-band.co.uk to let them know that I wished to cancel. I did not hear anything so I emailed accounting@thewrist-band.co.uk at 14:46

I have since received various emails stating that the order is in production and cannot be cancelled. The company invited me to contact them to pay more more to meet the rush deadline. I do not want to do this. I am also concerned that I may be charged an import duty as this company is not based in the UK as the web address suggests. I am confused as they say the product is in production yet they cannot meet the deadline. I am receiving all sorts of excuses. I have requested a full refund under the distance sellling law.

I am a genuine customer and not a rival company. I too wish I had read the experiences of other customers with this company before placing my order. I have been invited to call Jason Burke to discuss (in the US!!). I have refused as I have stated my requirements to cancel quite clearly in my email correspondence to the company.
