On June 2, 2011, I got on this website and unfortunately gave them my Discover card #.  After I had trouble with Leanne "dancing around all my questions "I called Discover and they had already charged  $159.00 on my acct.  Discover can't help me.  I used 265 bids on an Ipad and a couple just to get something for my money.  Never won a bid.  They want me to buy more bids.  Spoke with Christine today and due to a language barrier was unable to understand her.  She gave me the "mgr" Andrew and he would neither refund my money.

This is a total scam.  They dance around all the questions-mislead you into actually thinking you would have a chance to win on a bid.  those 265 bids were gone within an hour.  I believe they are in Florida, Miami area.  I am unemployed, 58 yrs old, not a gambler.  They are a scam.  In this weak economy they prey on people like myself.  It would be great to get my money back.  Naturally I cancelled my credit card yesterday.  Since they won't give me my money back what did I have to loose so that is why I bid.  They Leanne and Andrew actually fooled me into believing I could have gotten an Ipad for $25.00.

Let's see if scam or not....

AUTHOR: Mendy Harrison - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, December 08, 2012

I just went through & bought $175 worth of Restaurant.com gift cards for a little under $10. I will post later if this is a scam or not.... kinda makes me wonder with all the hype about it being a scam..... kinda glad I didn't spend much..... but on the other hand I guess I will see if it TRULY is a scam..... The message above about it not gives me a little hope..... :) But it does say the timer will reset after every bid..... I have won 1 Bronze, 5 Free & 5 Regular on my account (I have paid for 2) & on my husband's I won 7 Regular auctions, 1 Bronze, 5 Free (I only paid for 3). Like I said I will re-post when I find out something..... as for getting charged for anything outrageous.... I have not.... I did notice when you buy "bids" it does reset so you can buy the largest amount..... It happened to me.... but I did call & they set it back to what I wanted, gave me my money back & sent me a $100 Restaurant.com gift card.  Good Luck to everyone!!! So at least I have gotten back what I have asked for..... I have not been out any money I didn't want to be out of.

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 27, 2012

The owner has defended his scam of course he would. He needs to return the money he has taken from people. Bait and switch. if he ripps off 20 people at one auction for $99 he is really making money

WHERE IS THE PENNY AUCTION??????????? THANK GOD THE GOVERMENT IS GOING AFTER THESE PEOPLE

Zbiddy.com Is Not a Scam

AUTHOR: Roberts - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, August 29, 2011

I have been using this penny auction site since last six months. But never did I experience this kind of things like deduction of money from credit card without informing. Even my family members, who are using Zbiddy, were not charged of any unwanted amount. Thus, to me this report on Zbiddy appears to be ridiculous. If you say that Zbiddy is a scam then why are many items even today closing for just few cents. Like, 25 Bids Voucher closed for just $57! And this gift card closed for just $0.04!! And there are many items in closed auction section of Zbiddy which have been sold for less than $1!

So, I can make out that the people who say bad things about a site like Zbiddy are simply paid. It is a paid job to defame Zbiddy. On penny auction, only 1 person wins and there are some who lose. If you do not win then it does not mean that a particular auction site is a scam. It's simple that you don't have the right strategy and enough bids to win. If you have 10 bids with you and you want to win a Laptop then you can't. But instead, you think logically and go for a gift card then there are chances 99% chances that you may win! So, be even!
