I used this website to look up a company that I've never heard of. Sure enough, they had outstanding reviews. Unfortunately, the company I ordered from failed to deliver on many accounts.

• Bad customer service.
• Bad management.
• No real time inventory (the item was shown in stock when it wasn't).
• High shipping costs.

I wasted a week waiting for this company to ship my item but they never had the item to begin with. Time is money so wasting my time is like wasting my money.

The previous information is relevant because ResellerRatings rated the company that I placed an order with a 9.7 out of 10.

Like the BBB they favor people who pay them for the service. That seems to be the reason why this company was overrated.

In addition, ResellerRatings has:

• Padded reviews.
• A rigged 5 star rating system.

The only positive thing about ResellerRatings is that I was able to leave my negative feedback about the company that I mentioned above.

ResellerRatings should read this commandment:

• Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

I completely agree. I filed a complaint against a store that ripped me off. They sent me a product that was not correct for my Camera. I sent it back and they resent me the same product. I sent it back with a video showing the difference and why it did not work. They sent me back the same item. Here is exactly the scam that reseller did. First they removed my complaint. They sent me an email saying the store said I was not a customer and to send a copy of my credit card statement showing proof of purchase. I sent the proof. Meanwhile the store had 10 1 time excellent reviews on during the few days, it took to show them proof. Here is the kicker. They turned my review back on in pushed complexly off the 1st page by the 10 phony store reviews.
 
I went through the stores reviews and every where their was a complaint about being ripped off, it was preceded by at least 10 good reviews. And every single one of them had only wrote 1 review.
 
The only people who use Resellerratings.com are the small percentage of customers who can't get their own way and just indiscriminately blast the store and of course those who pay and have reputation sellers write up a bunch of 1 time reviews.
 
They have a thing with Google because Google was using them. I think the owner might have bought some one at Google off. It's the only thing I can think of as to why Google would every even give them a 2nd look.
 
Another trick they use, is any store who pays them can write a special review that they will show at the top of every single page. So if there are 10 pages of reviews with 10 reviews per page, a full 1/10 of the reviews are duplicates chosen by the store.
 
And by the way, if you are not paying them off, and refute a customer review, you get squat from them. I absolutely agree, Resellerratings.com is a rip-off scam.
