Milan Schwartz working at Alpha Funding in Brooklyn contacted me stating that he had an attractive refinance package tailored for me. It was a lower fixed rate, 30 yrs mortgage, and that my credit cards would be payed up, plus $5,000.00 cash out to fix a leaking roof.
At closing nothing was close to the truth. I was given a high rate adjustable, now credit cards payed off and no cash out. This refinance was totally suited for Alpha Funding. After complaining and refusing to sign. Mr. Schwartz assured me he would take care of this and get back to me.
At the second closing once again the lies came to truth, the only thing that changed was the mortgage rate. Mr. Milan Schwartz again stated that he would redraw docs and get me something more suitable and he would give me an additional $1,000.00 to take care of the credit card debits I had.
Closing number three, Mr. Schwartz was not present but called in and with Mr. Anthony Nozzolollo (attorney) as witness stated that he would pay me the additional $1,000.00 from his commission and even drafted up a promissory note which Mr. Nozzolollo kept.
Well it had been almost three months, hundreds of calls and voice mails, yet Mr. Milan Schwartz has not lived up to his promise, nor has he been receiving my calls. Now it seems that everyone at Alpha Funding is avoiding me, too busy to pick up the phone, Milan Schwartz is never in the office. Now Eva (manager) is telling me that the company is not liable. I am being sued by Capital One because I told them I was waiting for the money from the closing and Milan Schwartz is nowhere to be found or heard of.

I was never fired by Alpha Funding that story is not true at all. The story by Robert Brown was overly exaggerated. We were helping him refinance his home loan which was a miracle to get done due to his credit score which was extremely low. I had to work extra hard to help him. We lowered his monthly payment , paid off Debt and i did all i could to get him cash out of $1,000. When he signed the loan he was getting all of the above. Now for people who know how Mortgage loans work. When you get your "pay off" amount which is the balance of your home loan off your credit report it is sometimes diefferent then the actuall amount. So when the loan was funded The pay off came in and it was short a few thousand dollars. The bank needed that money back so they took some of it from the cash out. That goes for any homeowner not just Robert Brown. If it was up to me Robert Brown would of got alot more then promised but unfortuinately it is not. He began calling and harrasing me at time cursing and being very disrespectful on top of it all wrote a complaint on Rip off Reprt. It just goes to ahow what kind of person Robert Brown is.

I would like to have the original story removed from rip-off.com. This matter has been resolved. Mr. Schwartz has been fired from Alpha Funding and the money owed to me was payed by Alpha Funding and I am now comfortable with the outcome. Thanks.
