Because Bbelanger provided little information, we were not able to locate an account with our service. We will be happy to cancel the account and refund any charges billed to him or her once we can find the appropriate account. In the complaint, Bbelanger stated that s/he had never previously accessed iFriends or heard of the service. It is possible that someone has fraudulently used Bbelanger's personal information to create an account on our service. If this is the case, we strongly encourage Bbelanger to contact local law enforcement and file a police report. We work diligently with banks and law enforcement agencies to help apprehend anyone committing credit card fraud or identity theft. Unfortunately, since iFriends did not assess the overdraft charges to Bbelanger's account, we are unable to refund them. Because the bank chose to assess the fees, the bank is the only entity that can refund those fees. We strongly suggest that Bbelanger speak to his or her bank about the overdraft charges.
