Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
417fixit.com is a video game "repair" service in Springfield, MO. This guy "fixes" PS3's and Xbox 360's so that they will only work for about a week, he claims to have a 90 day "warranty". He will not honor this warranty, he will blame the consumer for any problem that occurs, no matter what it is and will say he isn't responsible and it's not his fault. I tried either to get my money back or to get my system repaired, he refused to do either then hung up on me. This guy is a total scam artist. Just a warning to anyone that is considering using him.

Okay I have been taking RROD xboxes to Jack for quite some time. He has also done other repairs for me as well. I have had one out of more than I can count fail while under his warranty. He took care of me. People must understand that even a proper repair does not completely solve the underlying problem that caused it in the first place. This is manufacturer error new solder and thermal compound just provides higher resistance to the overheating problems of the 360 "for example".
There are many other repair guys on graigslist or online in our area who do real shotty work. I will not name those I know of. I have dealt with a few. It is not worth it to chance it. I am filling this rebuttal because this upsets me.
Jack is probably the best guy in the state. If you have had your console messed up be a previous repair attempt, do not expect him to be able to fix it. get on youtube and watch the videos for repairing these consoles yourself and you will find some of the methods other people are using. SCARY.
Before you publicly badmouth a good serviceman, do some more research take some consoles elsewhere or CONTACT THE MUNUFACTURER
