I took an Advocare energy drink this morning, and was told it would give me wonderful natural energy. On the contrary, it made me feel worse! It slowed me down, and put me in a bad mood! I wonder if it mixed badly with my high blood pressure meds? Does anyone else know about these products?

Thanks so much!
God Bless

Not FDA approved? Is that a real complaint?

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 06, 2009

I can't speak about whether or not Spark interacted with your blood pressure medicine but if you can find an energy drink this IS FDA approved, I'd like to hear about it. The FDA approved Fen-fen and after some folks died, they promptly removed it from the market. Just watch the ads on TV from pharmaceutical companies advertising their FDA approved drugs and then listen to the side effects of some of them that range from hair loss, diarrhea, and nausea to birth defects, seizures, and sudden death. So I ask you, when something is FDA approved, what is it that you are expecting to be assured of?
