Arcadia Transouth ripoff unhelpful dishonest high interest rates Minneapolis Minnesota

My husband has his car loan through Transouth. They call and harass us all the time. Then when you actually get to talk to someone they are rude or they hung up on you. They talk to you like you're stupid. I work in a bank, I know how things work.

Recently they repo his car in the middle of the night while he was at work. They called saying they were in the insurance company and my husband didn't think anything about it because the car was in an accident not to long ago. He told them to come by the house in the morning but they came and towed it away. He was unable to get any of his stuff out of it. The car was then taking to some place out in the middle of nowhere. When he called to figure out where it was to get his stuff back they gave him three worng numbers to call, he got hung up on, and everything.

The point is the loan was only one month behind and they put the repo order in and then the next day when they got his payment they cashed it knowing they were repoing the car. Plus he had a stereo in the car which he is not allowed to have now because they said that if it's wire in then it goes with the car. That is just plain wrong!!! So basically they owe us about $900.00. All they said is they don't owe us anything and if we wanted the car back we have the pay the balance owed (which I understand) and the repo fee of $300.00 to $350.00 plus the storage fee of $25.00. Then if we don't want it back then it goes to an auction and if they don't get all the money that he owes he has to pay the rest.

If there is something I can do please let me know. This is just not right.
