Banggood.com Banggood Deceiving Banggood.com Warranty Internet

I purchased a phone on banggood.com in the beginning of 2016. About 8 months later, the phone breaks and I logged into my banggood account to see whether I have warranty on the device and for how long. I found that the listing does however state that there is a 1 year warranty on the device, but I have to contact banggood via email to get the return address. When I emailed them at order@banggood.com, they told me something very, very surprising which I could not find stated anywhere on their website. Their terms and conditions are not the same as when you contact them.

The phone is manufactured by Ulefone, which offers a 1 year gurarantee to everyone that resells. Banggood.com is basically a reseller as they directly buy from Ulefone. Keep this in mind, because when I contacted them (banggood.com) they told me the following:

1.) Banggood.com does NOT send the phone back to the supplier for repairs, they do the repairs themselves which voids the manufacturer warranty. This is NOT stated in their return polcy.

2.) You have a 1 year guarantee, but if the repair costs are more that 27 USD, then the buyer has to pay for the repair, even if the repair falls withing this 1 year timeframe and even if the manufacturer offers warranty for the failed items and the warranty is still valid. This is NOT stated in their return polcy.

3.) The buyer must pay for the shipping to banggood.com (which is what I would expect, but...) on their website they say that should the items be returned within the specified timeframe they will cover the return shipping to the customer. This is however not true, the customer shall conver ALL shipping costs.

4.) Should the device not be repairable, then you are basically without warranty because they only cover repair costs up to 27 USD. This is nowhere stated on their website.

5.) There are no guarantee that they will use OEM parts.

I purchased a new device from banggood.com before I contacted them for the return of my faulty device and then found this out. So basically my new deivce, equally, has no real manufacturer warranty and the same rules apply.

I honestly feel that I personally will never ever buy anything from this Chinese dips#it website again as they are dishonest by not listing this information in their warranty policies.

I explicitly asked them the following (this was copied from the original email sent to them)

1.) Customer pay for shipping from own address to bangood?
2.) Customer pay forshipping from bangood back to own address?
3.) Bangood does not offer 1 year manufacturer warranty. So if Bangood does the repair, it will void the Ulefone manufacturer warranty?
4.) Any repairs that cannot be repaired and must be replaced means the customer has no warranty?
5.) Any repairs that cost more than 27 USD must be covered by the buyer?
6.) So if the GPS cannot be repaired, then I will have to buy a new phone?

To which they replied Yes, you understand it correctly. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

My advice to anyone that considers buying on banggood.com is that if you never have a problem with the device itself, then you are in lcuk because you will not be affected, but this is the equivalent of buing a product with NO / ZERO / NADA warranty whatsoever.
