Took car in for oil leak they charged me 615.00 replaced oil sending unit and cam sensor when I pick up car I could see oil leaking mechanic told me it was cleaner they put on it took car home oil was still leaking took back in and was told it was something else leaking I knew it was same leak for it wad leaking in same area so I took to a dealer and he found silicone in my cam sensor and showed me and told me it would never seal with silicone and should have never used silicone I called beneficial automotive and ask if they used silicone and owner Donnie said yes they did and refused to fix my car because I got upset in his store and yes I did I spent alot of money for nothing with beneficial and I had to spend even more to have dealer fix their mistake I feel I have been ripped off and they know they did it wrong that's why they told me it was cleaner when they knew it was still leaking oil.

We apologize that you feel you were done a disservice

AUTHOR: Beneficial Automotive - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 13, 2012

We did indeed perform a service to repair your vehicle.  We did indeed look at your vehicle again to assess the persistent oil leak.  When you returned for the second visit you were unwilling to allow us to disassemble your vehicle again because you "couldn't be without the vehicle" and were not willing to pay for an additional repairs if the leak was found to be in another component.
When you returned you were extremely belligerent stating we were "untrustworthy" and were very uncooperative.  After several months you then called and wanted us to work on your vehicle.  We feel that since you have a trust problem with our services, it would be better if your future work is done elsewhere.
We encourage anyone who has questions about our services or integrity to phone us or check us out online.  We feel like this issue turned into more of a personality conflict than an auto repair issue and we apologize that you feel you were done a disservice.
