 I took my 1971 Chevy C20 in to have the bed of the truck finished, it was off the truck but needed sanded down, painted put the wood floor in. Mount the bumper, grill headlights. Repair some rust, sand and paint the back 1/2 the truck. He gave an estimate of $6500. The truck looks pretty much the same as when I dropped it off. The parts he did paint. He painted the wrong color. Not even close to the color of the front that was already painted. The truck is still apart, the floor isn't in, he wanted to charge $1000 for him to take off the paint and repaint his error. Charged $5500. Stay clear of this guy and shop total scam with shorty work.
