My loan was paid in full by the federal government. Let the Feds worry about being ripped off. I've complained and they ignored me.

So keep writing the checks to the loan companies honey your screwed. A total joke is that Peg Leg~~~AKA Ralph Newman was a student who didn't belong there. The Dean moved him to nights for his schooling to teach days. His certs were falified and he was a criminal. I guess he had you duped also.

This place was, for the most part, a fu**ing joke. I attended in the fall of 01 in a day class, to fall of '02.

Financing was a nightmare: I have paid out the a** and STILL owe like 8000 dollars! Now they are closed down and there is no one to turn too.

The machines were crap, the facility was ok, the instructors ran the gamut.

I remember a high-speed low-drag instructor in microsoft (had a "really" cool car) whose standard line was "ok...look at page xxx...everyone cool with whats on the page? ok...lets take a 20 minute break!)

The main repair guy was an old guy who thought he knew everything...his wife worked there too, I think...he knew sh**! he was worthless...he had some other guy in his department, who was more like a real college professor then an IT instructor...boring but fun...

The dean was a pot smoking assh**le who might have been french...I say that because his main line of defense was appeasment...go to him with a gripe and all he would try to do was appease everyone...

The career development department should have been renamed "career destruction" ....never saw them get a single job for ANYONE! There was a one handed lady there, who was nice, and really tried...but the school was so fu**ed up she couldnt do her job....the guy that ran that department was some kind of child molestor or something...

We had one instructor (does this place specialize in hiring the handicapped or something?) who had one leg (peg-leg from the previous posts)...he was about the only d**n one who gave a s**t about the students and tried to teach us anything...he told us to read the books and do the labs and stay away from the braindumps and testkings and s**t...one of us would come up with a new testking and he would go through the questions and show us how they were WRONG! And if we just memorized their answers we might have failed the certification tests...he knew his s**t inside out and backwards but...he wasnt enough to make that place worth 15,000 dollars...

I know he left BCSI and went to work at T.H.E for a while...then left the field...I think for the southwest somewhere...

I hope all the other fu**ers that worked there burn in hell....

BCSI has tormented entire classrooms of adults and kids just out of High School around here that I know of. I took Graphics Classes - luckily I actually am an artist so it wasn't too bad for me to learn everything myself when the teachers failed me miserably.

Some of the adult students in the class were told they didn't "need" to know how to draw.

Excuse me?

Yes, they do! It's artwork; no matter whether it's done on computer or not. Once, a test we had for a specific program was based on exactly how you drew something: NOT whether or not you used the PROGRAM properly. It was a specific area I was not good at the time with; and although I am a wiz at the program, I got a bad grade at the test because of its aptitude.

The Teachers changed constantly, as mentioned before - from bad to good and then were fired, came back, etc. This wouldn't matter if they were decent, but we'd get 2 teachers or so for Class Module and then the Teachers would have no clue where we were, learning-wise, and we'd lose time.

Portfolio Classes were forced: we had only 2 weeks or so to finish because the TEACHERS had ALL failed to instruct us on the portfolio pieces all year...we had nothing to show for it, because we were struggling to learn the programs. Again: forced between a PORTFOLIO and doing the final PROJECT of the last class, I chose the portfolio, (which in the real world, would actually get me that job desired)...

Forced into it, my grade for the final project: a web design class: was horrendous compared to my others. And yet I am a web designer and I hand code all my pages with HTML, CSS, Java, etc. There was no reason for all of this!

They also gave us the most horrible copied printouts for us to work on: rather than give us the books sometimes. As an artist, I need to know COLORS and details: they were black and white, shoddy, hard to read.

As a final insult...

Last year, we all bought our portfolios. They INISTED on us buying what they wanted - a lot of money in some folks' cases: I luckily had one.

This year they're buying them for the students.

It's rare that folks get jobs for Graphics that don't - to put it mildly -- s#ck -- from there. I was the top of my class and I got offered 2 jobs. One didn't pay; the other was a flake that never responded or called me back. I know several people now, a good 5 or 6 BESIDES the people in my class - that are extremely angry at this school and do NOT have jobs from their training.

The parking lot is still shoddy, by the way. I fell once in icy weather because it wasn't iced properly. -_-

I went to this school back in the early 90's and received a full-time job as a programmer/analyst even before I graduated. I have been working in the IT field ever since. I was not aware of anyone fired and always received technical help when I needed it.

I do think, of course, that it is a business and that they do want their payments, but so does any other school.

I had attended this school from september of 01 to march of 02. During this whole time i attended the school, i was NEVER asked if i needed further help on the subject except by Peg leg ( i wont use his real name) PegLeg was always ready to help, yet we only had his class for 1 week. Not to mention we had 2 teachers fired midstream, CONTINUOUS schedule changes.

Also a year later i was billed for about 100$ due to wrong paperwork by the financial aid office, lets just say, they wont see my money, I have already started a class action lawsuit with 13 other former students who have had nothing but bills and NOT ONE BIT OF HELP FROM THE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES dept.

They are all one dumber than the other, yet the refund policy is for the first 3 days, lo and behold the first 3 dcays u r doing "windows basics" therefore STICKING you with the loan. I personally will never pay this loan and would consider declaring bankruptcy before ever giving another penny to these conniving scamming fools.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT GO THERE, The teachers are flunks, the staff is spiteful, the parking lot is all broken, and i have still yet to be repaid for my flat tire i got there, not to mention the theft on my vehicle, they refused to show me the tape that was from the camera of the parking lot, I believe this place is a crock of sh*t, not to mention, the Son now owns the place, so im sure he's a little easier to work something out with.
