This started as a great relationship. They responded quickly, gave me an idea of what the numbers would look like and I signed a contract. Then they screwed me. They were supposed to take 30% of the sales price but ended up taking over 60%. They were supposed to be finished in 2-3 months but instead it took 6. They were supposed to inventory and track my belongings but I found multiple items on their website labeled with a different customers name and many things labeled with my name that didn't belong to me. If you want your possessions lost and your money stolen this is the place, if not look elsewhere.

Caring Transitions strives to make every client happy and works with the highest ethical standards but unfortunately misunderstandings can still occur. We did take one month longer than originally promised to complete the job but did so in order to maximize the value of items sold. There was a misunderstanding on our hourly charges for moving items but once we learned this was not clear, we refunded the billed amount and the client received the exact percentage agreed to in our contract. The allegation that we mixed items is simply not true. Though you can view many clients’ items on our website at any given time, each client’s items are sold as a complete separate sale. It is unfair that client has chosen to use this format to complain as we have addressed his complaint and received his confirmation that he was satisfied with the amount of the proceeds of the estate.
