Catholic Medical Center CMC They go right to collections and report on your credit report without telling you Manchester New Hampshire
*Consumer Comment: You ARE leaving some things out of your report...

CMC does not disclose cosst at time of treatment and frequently does not itemize bills. In addition they hire Lamont Hanley who does not make actual contact but simply calls your phone with no message and then reports you to the credit bureau. As an ALLEGEDLY spiritual institution, their billing ruthlessness is inexcusable.

You ARE leaving some things out of your report...

such as how many times they tried to collect from you and how long you were in arrears. Without that information, you appear to be a deadbeat.
BTW, what does being "an allegedly spiritual institution" have to do with lawful debt collections? Nothing, that's what.
Also, your failure to pay is inexcusable. Nope, I don't work for them.

Don't blame the Hospital

The hospital doesn't legally have to discloae their prices upfront unless asked. Also, if you don't pay your bill, it will go to collections, and the collection agency has the right to report it to the credit bureaus. This is your fault for not paying your bills or attempting to work with the hospital to make arrangments for a payment plan.
That said, the fact that the collection agency didn't leave you any messages is their fault, but not one to blame on the hospital. By the time it goes to a collection agency, it has probably already been reported on credit report anyway. Your best bet is to call the collection agency and try to work out a way to make the payments so as to stop any damage that has been done to your credit score.
