Consumer Capital Advocates offer it's clients a Debt Settlement solution to their debt. This unfortunate client experience stems from the client's misunderstanding of the manner in which Debt Settlement works. Without a complete client name I cannot address the specifics of this client's actual participation in the program, so I will make broad explanations of the program and typical client experience. Our typical client is facing mounting Payday loan debt and is already in, or about to be in, default. They are facing wage assignments, law suits, and harrassement. There is no feasible way for them to exit the situation unscathed. Our company does not solicit. Our clients are seeking a solution to their dilemma and contact us for help. We employ a debt settlement program that buys time for the debt to age and allow our BBB rated negotiations team to reach a discounted settlement with the client's lenders. During the process, the client is legally protected against any potential law suit. We profit directly from the amount of savings we procure for the client; the monthly or bi-weekly drafts from the client's bank account are deposited in a special purpose account for the intention of settling with the lenders.

When a client believes that we are paying off their creditor on a monthly basis, we have failed to properly communicate the program and we all loose, attorneys, lenders and client. We will make efforts for this issue to never occur.
