Was an out of town buyer, inquired on a vehicle they had, asked if there was any damage was told car fax clean. Car arrived drivers fender, drivers door, driver side rear door and rear bumper had damage. $2500 worth of damage. Also was told the car purchase would be $15300.00 plus tax. Billing came in at $150 more for what they call an "admin" fee. In addition to all of this the interior had a strong terrible smell of tabacco. Worst experience in my 35 years of buying anything. Beware.

Why would you even think to buy a car sight unseen?

But since you did, what did you do to "check it out"?  Did you request photos of the ENTIRE car?  Did you contact a Mechanic in the area who could go "check it out"?  Please don't say that you just relied on a "clean" car-fax.  If that is all you did...you were practically begging to be ripped off.  Was this car really that much cheaper than others that you couldn't pass it up?
