Rebuttal: As President of Detective Training Institute (DTI), I should like to offer the following rebuttal to the anonymous complaint: DTI is a highly ethical and reputable school that has operated for more than 20 years without any student complaints filed with the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) in Sacramento, Ca. The anonymous complainant, nor any of her family members were students at DTI. She has never filed an official complaint with DTI, or with any licensing bureaus in California which oversee the approval of schools and the licensing of private investigators. I challenge the complainant to provide proof (e.g. full student name, student ID number, tuition receipt, or copy of enrollment application) that she, or any family member, was ever a student at DTI. I further challenge the anonymous complainant, if in fact she was a legitimate student with a legitimate concern, to file a formal complaint with the BPPVE for full transparency. DTI did not steal its Better Business Bureau (BBB) logo as alleged by the anonymous complainant. DTI has worked hard to meet high professional standards in the profession and has earned the right to display the BBB logo on it website with distinction after earning an A+ consumer rating. In closing, I strongly believe the Ripoff report was deliberately and falsely created by a competitor in an attempt to discourage students from enrolling in DTIs private investigator program and to discredit and smear DTIs good reputation that it has so proudly earned over the years. I just recently enrolled in DTI and before I did, I did MUCH research into which school I should attend so that I would have a better chance of expanding my career in the field of security, currently I am employed as a commissioned security officer.

A large part of my research included speaking with a couple of future employers that I have come to know through my current position and concluded,as I said before,after MUCH research that it would not make ANY sense to seek an education in this field from anyone other than DTI.

That having been said I must say that I am truly excited about the direction I have chosen and eager to complete the course and explore all the possibilities that come with a career in the security field, after all, the possibilities are endless.

Now only Time Will Tell if the decision I made was good or bad!

Besides, I never have been the kind of person that would judge someone or something merely by what ONE person has said!

I don't know what all of the complaints are about, but I paid for the DTI course and I can see for myself that they are using the Better Business Bureau reports illegally and unlawfully. It's all over their website. I will be looking further into the other allegations and calling the BBB person to determine if I should seek a refund.

I have finally concluded that you are either:

1-Out of you anxiety meds.
2-Part of the IPIU Propaganda machine or both.

You are way too strung out on all of this to be taken seriously.

I have watched a number of verbal battles go on against IPIU with posts almost identical to yours attempting a rescue.

I will tell you what; so far, the only proof that you have come up with is the fact that you are not playing with a full deck. Every time you type out a message, you only make it worse.

If you really want to prove your point, CALL ME!
Share the proof you have with me, receipts, emails, and letters. You know who I am now. I made it easy enough. Put the proof where your mouth is and I will back you up in this forum myself.

If you can't prove it, then quit your whining and go back to your PI Fantasy world. The only thing that you have done here so far is generate negative publicity for yourself and make yourself look like the IPIU poster child.

Although I know of people who do not care for DTI, I have never heard of such claims as yours about them.
