DISCOUNT WHOLESALER IMPORTERS & WHOLESALERS purchased an electric scooter for $135 it does not work and they will not fix it **RIPOFF** DALLAS Texas

I shopped this store for the first time on February 22, 2004 with my 10yr-old who was having a fit to get a scooter. The Owner stated that if i purchase the scooter at that time it is only $135.

He gave me one that was still in the box. my son's birthday was March 25th, i opened the box and put the scooter together 2 weeks after his birthday. charged it for 8hrs as stated in the almost unlegible directions, it did not come on i called the store. the guy told me to charge it for 24hours with the key in the on position, which is oposite of what the directions stated. it still did not come on. i called again he told me to bring it in. i did so and left it for 2 or 3 days with another worker there.

on the 3rd day i called back and a guy stated that i could come and pick it up. instead of giving me back the one i purchased he gave me another one and stated that the motor was bad in the old one (the worker). when i got home, charged the scooter until the next day my son rode it for 15 minuted and when he return it was not working again and it was on flat. i called them again and he told me to bring it back in. again i took it back and this time the guy i originaly purchased it from was there also, he replaced the fuse but the worker states to me again to charge it for 2 days is when he tells me that if he rode it at all he is not responsible for the repairs i am.

now i have $135 of trash staring at me and there is no information on the instructions and no one to order parts from and no one to take it to other than the people who took your money in the first place. now they want to take more of your money and claim they fixed it. because there is no proof that it was sent off to be fixed but they charge you as if they sent it somewhere for repair.

there are others who have purchased from this dealer and experiencing the same problem whoelse can these people be reported to??????
