Dominion virginia power Dominion taking advantage of unsuspecting customers Richmond Virginia
*Consumer Comment: Let me take a wild guess here...
Most power companies call you or leave a couple of voicemails and text messages before they disconnect service. Dominion did not give me a warning before disconnecting service and charged an exorbitant $63 to restore my service. This is a scam to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Ali

That perhaps this is not the first time you have had your power disconnected. As you seem to be very familar with the process of being notified.
So here is a thought...how about paying your bill when it is due? Yes it is really that simple.
You see your "notification" claim is just a diversion tactic to try and shift the blame to someone else. Where in fact YOU are the only one to blame if your power gets cut off. You ask why? Okay, let me tell you.
First you know you have a bill due every month. If you don't get said bill it is YOUR repsonsibility to contact them.
If you say you couldn't pay your bill, then why does it matter if you were notified? Think about it here. If you could not afford it, them notifiying you or not does not change the final outcome of having your power cut off..right? Where if you really wanted to get some help you would instead be very proactive and contact them.
However, if you can truly pay it and are just "playing games" to delay them as long as possible then they just outsmarted you and won the game.
