I am and have been sick from mold exposure for over 3 years and looking for help. I read on the Internet that Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker was the medical mold guru. I finally tracked him down. He for a so called consultation charged me $8.00 per minute, He then gave me a medical diagnosis over the phone,  that I must have surgery and have  my gallbladder removed and a lot of crazy things . I must take a prescription medication called Cholestyramine. Needless to say I became very upset.  So I did my research and found out, he’s not retired AT ALL. He lost his medical license for fraud and other criminal medical acts, he’s not even allowed to practice medicine at all and here he is giving me a medical diagnosis and telling me I need surgery over the phone across State lines without any medical records or even seeing me. I asked him that if Cholestyramine really worked, after ten years of use on mold patients, for mold exposure, why has it not the medical prescription standard today for mold sickness… HE HUNG UP ON ME and still billed my charge card which I later charged back.

This guy is crazy, breaking the law as to his practice of medicine, I found out the VCS vision screen test on his website is a total fraud and you can fail that test for 100 other reasons than just mold. I found out the his DLAR, or whatever he calls it, the gene test, that he told me I have to have is also a total fraud and a rip-off. And then I spoke to the Maryland attorney general and found out is now under another federal investigation which may result in jail time for theft by deception and practicing medicine without a license.

Please if you are considering seeing Shoemaker or one of His $1,500 one day trained chorny doctors call the Maryland Composite Medical Board first and ask for the report of his medical license revocation. This man TOTALLY is Crazy STAY AWAY.
