FCNB Credit Card ripoff, hold my payments and then charge me a late fee. I owed $120.00 and have had 3 late payment charges. It has been 14 days and still no payment applied ripoff business from hell Portland Oregon

My payments are not applied to my account in a timely manner which has resulted in 3 late payments and a mark on my credit. My current payment was mailed 15 days ago and still has not been applied to my account. This is the last payment and I'm afraid that they will hold this check like they usually do and then charge me a late payment again. What recourse do I have? How can I prove this and have my credit report cleared?
